“Great Stay At Aston Circle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for one night precuise on April 24,2013 The location is outstanding !!!! It is right across the street from Wakiki beach. It is in a great location! We had and Ocean front room on the 14th floor. We had a fabulous view of the ocean. It was magnificent. The room were smal but more than enough room for two people. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our flight landed early and we we able to check in early. Spend the extra dollars and get an Ocean front room. The view is so worth it!! If you are looking for a hotel like the outriggers or some of the other more expensive hotels this hotel is not for you. if you want a hotel with great views of Ocean and clean rooms with a nice staff. Give this hotel a try. There were plenty of places to eat and shop. The hotel is right across front the beach. Everything is within walking distance. All of the rooms have balconys. they will also store your luggage for you if it is needed. Ask for a rooms on the 10th floor and up, that way it wont be as noisy.Would definitely stay here agan . the beds were comfortable. Rooms were basic but clean. There is no room service but plenty of eating places within walking distance. Do Give this hotel a try. For the price you cant beat it. It was the cheapest hotel I found on the strip.

This hotels in a great location beautiful views of the ocean, with in walking distance of down town and diamond head. Very basic hotel with very little service. Cleaning staff were friendly. A/C very noisy and the noise from the street was sometimes to much. WI-FI was quick. Beds comfortable and bathroom clean. Overall expensive and not extremely flash but worth the $$ for the views

This hotel may not have as many luxuries as many others do, but the location is great, and the room had everything we needed. Great view of the shoreline from our room so that we could watch the surf and try to go out there when there weren't as many people on the waves. The A/C was very loud in our room, but thankfully I had my earplugs. Clean, simple, everything we needed, and for a better price than some others.

Room Tip: Try to get one that allows you to see the shoreline if you are interested in going surfing in Waikik...

First stayed here many years ago & the magic is still here, fabulous restaurant downstairs, incredible location across from the Waikiki/ Kuhio beach - only 10 steps across the road ! Retro decor but recent, the bathrooms are fresh. The beautiful staff: nothing is too much trouble & always courteous. WIFI, DVD, local calls & daily newspaper included in low resort fee.
The Oceanfront balconies are your best options too seek the sun and view the surf & the amazing street/ seascape views. Today we re on Lvl 8 - perfect views & our bed is very comfy. I am an international flight attendant & I get to stay in some amazing hotels all around the world - this little gem is still an all time favourite!
It's an iconic landmark with a strong following amongst savvy travellers !

Room Tip: ROOM: Choose Oceanfront - with LARGE balconies with best Waikiki/Kuhio beach/ocean , sunset views &a...

This is a very basic hotel with limited facilities so if you like a bit of luxe, then this hotel's not for you. I have stayed here several times over the years and absolutely love it because, despite its limitations, it is in a sensational location, directly opposite the beach and with superb views of the surf, Diamond head and Waikiki. This time I took my own kettle (they now have coffee makers in the rooms) and I also take my own breakfast cereal and bowl as there's no breakfast option at the hotel (the room has a fridge). The airconditioning sounds like a jet engine and on my stay in May 2013 the McDonald's store next door was being rebuilt so it was pretty noisy. The staff are friendly and some of the housekeepers have worked there for 20+ years though the rooms sometimes don't get cleaned until mid-afternoon. I'd still stay there again as it's good value for money.

Room Tip: Definitely get an ocean view room - the ones at the rear can be pretty windy

This hotel is in a great location, right across the road from Waikiki Beach. The staff were helpful. The bed was comfy. The room however left a bit to be desired. The air-conditioner was so incredibly noisy we had to turn it off to sleep. A look out on the verandah revealed a machine so rusty it's amazing it still worked and stayed on the wall. There seemed to be a wind-tunnel effect out on the verandah it was unpleasant to be out there, even though it wasn't a windy day/night, and the wind was so strong it kept rattling the doors out to the verandah and it kept us awake. The wi-fi worked well. You will be charged a mandatory $15 per night for internet, movies, playstation and coffee whether you use them or not.

Room Tip: Pay the extra and get an oceanview room. That way you won't be looking at the multi storey car p...

I am in the travel industry and have stayed in many hotels over the years. This little gem is a real treasure. The rooms are as everyone has stated very small but for 2 people they are just fine. My sister and I enjoyed an ocean view room and loved waking up in the morning and watching the surfers from our beds then moving to the deck for bagels and a mimosa. What a great way to start the day. I was going to start naming the staff we appreciated so much but I've decided not to in case I missed someone as every last one of them was terrific, very helpful and always wearing a smile. The location is second to none and the price was great. We both agreed that any time we are in Waikiki this is were we want to stay. Aloha, and have a great holiday!
