Me and my partner stayed at the hotel during my spring break March 30th to April 5th. The hotel was very nice and our room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. When we checked in the agent said she was going to move us to another room since we were celebrating our aniversary so the agent put us on the 23rd floor, I was so glad she did. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was great and the beach was just across the street. Awesome hotel, great location, the only thing I found troubling is that some of the staff seem unsure about giving directions or the hours for some local attractions.

We stayed at the Resort Quest Waikiki Beach Hotel from 25/03/08 - 08/04/08 and were not at all ready to leave. The friendly, helpful cousins/staff went above and beyond in every aspect of the hotel's service. I traveled with my 2 son's 23 and 20 and each of them was given personal attention by the valet staff to the point of being called by their first names. My younger son was on a wish trip and in a wheelchair, and one of his favorite activities was sitting in the lobby visiting the friendly tourists and staff. The valet staff were there to help with the wheelchair and getting him in and out of the car. The service was fast and they even helped us with directions and recommendations for sight-seeing and swimming. The breakfast was a treat, because you didn't have to leave the hotel and everyone could go at their leisure. On the days we were on our way early we just packed our coolers and were off. There was lots of variety, although I didn't prefer the hot items. I loved the tropical yogurts and juices and yes the Toasted Coconut Coffee was to die for. The other nice thing is that you save lots of money, not having to purchase breaky each day. We went out 1 day to IHOP and it was almost $40 (over 14 days, that's a big savings) The room was fabulous and yes we did get an upgrade to full ocean view. The beds were very comfy and the view was amazing. What's all the fuss about bathroom space...it was sufficient for 3 of us. We did stay in a junior sweet and it did have a fair amount of space.
We had 2 lanai's and could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and view. Yes the elevators were a bit slow...(they do have 5 of them) but Hang Loose it's Hawaii. We will definetly return again and stay at this fabulous and friendly hotel. Tikis was just ok, but Wolfgang Pucks was fabulous! A great value and we loved it. Mahalo

My family and I stayed at the Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel for one week over spring break. It was fantastic! It was everything I would hope it would be! It had an amazing view and an even better location. The hotel is right across the street from Waikiki beach and has it's own pool if you get tired of the laying in the sand. It offers a free breakfest and lunchboxes so you can take your breakfest and eat it on the beach. (I did this every morning!). The rooms were clean and the service was phenominal. Everyone was so friendy and helpful...especially the people working at the pool. They were just so nice. I was so sad when I had to leave Hawaii. It was my first time there, and this hotel made it extra special. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone. Great deals, great location, great views (waikiki beach and diamond head), just an amazing hotel overall.

This hotel was great for our family of four (kids are 8 and 4) and we really enjoyed our seven night stay. We had a 23rd floor room which had an ocean and sunset view and overlooked the pool. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast poolside each morning and provides cooler bags to carry it in, very convenient if you want to walk to the beach with your brekkie. If you stay poolside there is very good entertainment with a hula dancer and guitarist. Sometimes at 9am there are free hula lessons. The pool towels are plentiful and very clean and Nicole the charming breakfast host often handed me four towels which were still warm from the laundry! You can take them to the beach so don't bring your own and you can change them out during the day.
Other reviewers have covered everything I enjoyed about this hotel in depth but there are a couple of things I want to add.
If you have an evening flight....ask for a late checkout. We paid a little more to keep our room until 4pm so we could relax and shower before having dinner at Tiki's and then travelling to the airport. This really helped as we could enjoy our last day.
The beach across from the hotel has lagoons. This meant that we could relax a little more when our children were in the ocean. There is a strong shore break on many of the beautiful beaches and the lagoon is the perfect solution to this.
Go snorkelling at Hamauna bay....it's amazing. Don't buy the water from the ladies at the top near the car park, get it from the concession store inside.
Hire a car and drive to Kailua Beach or Waimanalo Beach (we had this beach to ourselves...apart from the lifeguard). The views from these beaches were beautiful.
Head to Pali Lookout to get blown ragged by the wind and see spectacular views and read a gory tale of battle.

This hotel was convenient and fun, I'd stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the ResortQuest Waikiki Beach from 3/6 to 3/14. I can't imagine a better hotel for the price that we paid! The staff was incredibly courteous & friendly, from the front desk clerks to the housekeeping staff.
Yes, some of the rooms are small, but our room with 2 double beds was positively enormous! I really don't undertand all the complaints about the elevators - relax, you're in Hawaii! So what if it takes an extra 30 seconds to get to your room?
Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and having a flat-panel TV and a mini-fridge was icing on the cake!
Each morning, we would enjoy our complimentary "Breakfast on the Beach," served in the hotel's pool area - food was very good, and the entertainment (hula girl & singer) was lovely.
I cannot say enough nice things about the hotel's bar, Tiki's. Wonderful bartenders, excellent food and drinks. Try the kalua pig nachos!
Next time we're in Hawaii, we'll be back to the ResortQuest!
