This was our lovely home for 7 nights and 8 lovely days in Waikiki and we had a ball. We were welcomed with some lovely nonalcoholic punch when we arrived. We stayed in the hula tower but was unfortunate to have a low floor (2nd) so the views from the balcony were not that great. We had a very close eye view of Denny's restaurant. Fortunately we spent very little time in the room to enjoy the balcony views so it didn't matter. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The location is superb right smack in the middle of everything. Honestly this hotel wasn't my first choice especially since its particularly known for being a "family" hotel and we were three single ladies. I was concerned about being run over by children but there weren't a lot until it got closer to the weekend. I really wanted to stay in the Sheraton which was right across the street from our hotel and ON the beach. However, the breakfast buffet and NO daily resort fees were definitely the deal breakers and it didn't disappoint. The breakfast buffets in the morning were absolutely on point. We pigged oops I meant ate lovely every morning. From the freshly made omelette's or cereal, fruits it was a nice selection that saved you money daily. The pool looked a little small and we never got a chance to enjoy it because we were too busy living it up on the beach. The hotel didn't have a lot of stores inside but it really didn't need them because everything you needed from clothes, restaurants or the ABC stores and 7/11 were literally steps away. Unfortunately, we missed the managers reception the entire time we were there from enjoying Oahu. We had our share of the water in the lobby filled with fruit and ice which was needed. We used the business center which had about 4 computers to book our excursions and used Discover Hawaii which I will review later. Overall, we had a great time at this hotel and I would definitely return.
