We many times stay at Embassy Suites on our vacations and we were glad we stayed at this one . Prices are high in Hawaii and we really enjoied the mangers reception and free drinks by the pool. PF Changs was 1 block away we ordered carryout and ate it by the pool then swam great hot tub very up scale decor we loved the dacor of our room the service was top notch and out room was free due to hilton honors points. Try Roys Restaurant on the first floor it is expensive but some of the best food we have ever eaten!!! The free Embassy Suits breakfast was one of the better ones too.

Beautiful hotel close to everything in Waikiki. Open-air entry and friendly, accommodating staff to welcome you upon your arrival. Our room was clean and well maintained. Our location was perfect in relation to the morning buffet breakfast. We simply walked out the door, around the corner and filled our plates! The breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly and offered tips and island info when asked. We were so busy each day with exploring the island that we never made it to the happy hour. It was a perfect location and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hawaii!

My family, consisting of myself and my two daughters 11 and 9 were in Waikiki at the Embassy Suites between June 19th and June 24th. When we arrived we were very impressed with how someone immediately greeted us, took our luggage, and helped us check in. The welcome drinks were delicious. We had booked a Government rate room so knew it would not have a view. We were early so were happily surprised to be able to check into our room immediately. We were on the 5th floor in the Aloha tower. We found the room to be clean, spacious, and were surprised to have a view of a flower garden. The room was never noisy and we never heard other guests around us or the elevators. Our housekeepers were friendly and kept our room clean. They responded pleasantly to requests for more towels, etc.. Our room was was one floor above the breakfast/happy hour/pool area so were able to take the stairs to get there.

The breakfast was delicious. My kids loved the miso soup, rice and fresh fruit. I loved the omelets and great fruit. Even though it was busy we never waited in line long or had difficulty finding a table. Happy hour was enjoyable. The snacks were simple, but they were kept well stocked. We had music two nights and hula dancing on Friday night. It was a great way to start the evening after going to the beach, shopping, swimming, etc.. I'm glad they kept the snacks simple as there were so many great places to eat around the area.

I really can't think of one bad thing to say about our stay. We did not run into one rude staff member. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Valet service really nice people. The pool was adequate and we had no problem finding a seat. Liked the hot tub. Just remember Waikiki is a busy and active city and you have to look for places to relax. Embassy Suites fits the bill and was close to everything, including transportation. I would highly recommend this place if you have a family.

My wife, two kids and myself had a great 5 nights and six days of stay last week. It was by far the best hotel, service, staff and stay we have ever had in the last 10 years. I would like to name a few (I apologize if I didn't get the names of our housekeeper, and some valet guys) who didn't get tired acknowledging us every time they see us anywhere in the lobby or at the hall. Lauren at the front desk who gave us a very nice room, high floor that we wanted and plenty of smile during check in and surprisingly checked us out as well. Johnny the bellman was so smooth in handling of our bags and very informative with regards to what we need to know in the room, hotel and things we can enjoy in and out of the hotel during our stay. Aldrin at the breakfast place was very pleasant with greeting us his aloha smile every time we ran into him. He always made sure we have what we needed while we're having the best breakfast an amenity you can't find from the other hotel. Our housekeeper who provided us an impeccable service daily and the valet guys who took care of our rental car like their own. Most importantly, my kids loved the pool. My 6 yrs old son sobbed as soon as our plane took off because he said he's going to miss not only the island of Oahu but especially the hotel that captured our hearts.

Room Tip: I assume all rooms are nice and no problem like we had...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and two year old child in a one bedroom condo in the Aloha tower.

The room was lovely and modern, though didn’t come with any actual cooking facilities as I was expecting – only a bar fridge and microwave.

The bedroom (separated by a solid door – a rarity in one bedroom condos in Waikiki) had a queen bed, tv and access to the lanai. Bed was unbeliveably comfortable!!

The lounge area also accessed the lanai and had a sofa bed, though I honestly can’t see how you would fold it out in that size of room – with a coffee table, arm chair and dining table there really wasn’t much room to move around for the three of us, but that was fine because we were always out and about.

The bathroom was large and well appointed - and spotless! The whole room was very luxurious compared to other places I’ve stayed at in Waikiki for similar price range.

The pool area was brilliant – a large number of lounge chairs so there was always one available, two bars and Astroturf which meant you weren’t walking on hot pavement. The pool was the best – a heated pool with a hot tub and kids pool, it was fantastic for my little one and the best I’ve seen in Waikiki.

Morning breakfast provided a great variety and I like that breakfast started pretty early (6am I believe), which for early risers is great. The nightly drinks with the manager were great and my only suggestion would be that they add pina coladas to the offering – their margaritas were sensational and made up for it, though.

Waikiki Beach Walk is a great little area very different from the rest of ‘old waikiki’ and while the restaurants and shops were great, I personally liked to walk up to the older part of Waikiki as the beach is a little nicer (less rocks) and it feels less resort-y.

Overall, I really liked this hotel – how rare that you can find a family oriented hotel that manages to please the whole family, while adding class and luxury.
