“Dont use go card for this.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

We used the go card for this, the driver was very rude, he misguided all of us to a different falls and we were sent on the wrong trail and we could not see the real falls, they charge a fee of $3 each which is a rip off. The entry to the false is free. You can do it on your own.

“Great hike!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

Manoa Falls is not spectacular but it is a nice reward at the end of the hike. The scenery along the hike is beautiful & there's nothing to compare to the sound of the wind gently blowing through the bamboo forest. Make sure to wear good, comfortable shoes as the trail can be slippery in parts!

“Beautiful hike!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014 via mobile

Beautiful up hill hike to the Manoa Falls. The scenery made the distance, about 1 mile, seem insignificant. Definitely recommend tennis shoes or hiking boots, bring water, and a camera. A walking stick wouldn't hurt either :) The hike is mostly shaded by bamboo. A decent hike for all ages.

“Outstanding hike to good falls”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

Beautiful, lush hike with a number of environments along the way. Bamboo groves, a tree fern forest, and bubbling cascades along the whole trip. Parking is tough, and the hike is muddy, slippery, and mildly strenuous, but the hike and the falls at the end are worth the effort.

“Forget about the destination, enjoy the journey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

Just repeating what others said before: you don't really do this hike to see the "awesome" falls at the end of it. You should do it for the pleasures along the way.

The first 5 minutes of walking on the trail (passed the entrance sign) is beautiful and you get more of the same as you go along. The waterfall is fine, but not the highlight of this trail.

Save time for meandering around in the botanical gardens next door. It's just as nice, or maybe nicer.
