“Staple of the area...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

I have to start with, if you are looking for a mall, this isn't it...go to Ala Moana. But the Ward area (warehouse, centre and the movie theater stadium and surrounding shops) have a lot to offer. Menchies, DQ, little eateries, restaurants, boutique shops, surf shops and little specialty places as well as having coffee shops and the movie theater itself. Can be a fun afternoon out. Also, the warehouse now has the Kaka'ako farmers market on Saturdays and this helps the local farmers and community. I have been a patron for years and will continue to shop here!

“Don't Even Think About It !”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

I have travelled to Honolulu several times and have just never managed to get around to going out the Wards Warehouse even though it is the next block along from the Ala Moana shopping centre.

I managed to organise myself and caught "The Bus" Hawaii's local bus service to the outlet a fairly simple process as it is a direct bus ride, and then decided I would walk back to the Ala Moana shopping centre and get the trolley back to Waikiki to my hotel.

Wards warehouse was a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME - the shops that are there are of no interest to tourists and could barely be called a warehouse outlet, there was a chemist, a makeup shop, bed and bath outlet and couple of restaurants and a footwear outlet.

That's it.

I did not venture into the Wards Entertainment outlet I was so disappointment I would not even consider recommending this place to anyone to visit.

Go to the Ala Moana Shopping centre or the Waikele outlet instead they have a much better choice of stores.

“Looks a bit sad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

Ward Warehouse,Centre and Village a few years ago was the place to go for excellent shops and restaurants.
Some are still there but more than a third have gone.
Borders Books was an icon and that went about 18 months ago.
You have Ward entertainment picture theatre it has 24 theatres and it is a Consolidated brand.
You can catch the No 19 or 20 bus to the centre and theatre.
It's worth a visit even though the place looks a bit sad.
Still some unique shops with items you can't get elsewhere.
It's part of Honolulu's old history going back more than 130 years to the Victoria Ward Family.
