“Enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012 via mobile

Although a bit on the pricey side we enjoyed our dining experience at arancino di mare. We were lucky to have a fantastic server and he certainly added to the experience. Food is quite good and i might say a welcome reprieve fr asian centric cuisine in hawaii. A little variety cant hurt! The antipasti was quite good and so are the pasta dishes. Quite romantic yet modern ambiance. Recommended.

“We saved the best for the last!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

On our last day in Honolulu, we decided to try Arancino di Mare. They did not disappoint!! This was our best meal on the island! My husband and I love Italian fare and this restaurant was one of the best we have had. We ordered the caesar salad to start and thankfully they left the anchovies on the side. The salad had the right amount of dressing. The focaccia was very fresh. The lobster bisque had the perfect blend of seasonings, a wonderful lobster flavor and not too heavy. This fresh dill was a great compliment. We ordered the ravioli fruitti di mare....amazing!! The sauce was deliciously scooped up by the remaining focaccia. Karin, our waitress, was very pleasant, efficient and made us feel welcome. The support staff were always table side. We would highly recommend this establishment to others! We noticed the couple behind us were having a bit of an argument, which the staff handled very well and did in no means interfere with our meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant and considering we could not make a reservation, they found us a table in 10 minutes. A wonderful way to end our Oahu visit!

“Fantastic Italian restaurant in Waikiki”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

We went to this restaurant that is in the Marriott complex the first night we were in Waikiki. What a delightful find! We were hungry after a long flight, so I ordered the Insalata Ai Frutti Di Mare and Spaghetti All Ortolana- that really could have been two main dishes. The salad had big pieces of shrimp, fresh calamari, clams, and mussels over a bed of greens with Roma tomatoes and yellow pepper slices with a light vinaigrette dressing. The seafood was served chilled over the greens. It was very, very good. Still hungry, I ate the entire Spaghetti All Ortolana, or spaghetti with a medley of fresh vegetables. The zucchini, onions, asparagus, baby carrots, and tomatoes were lightly sauted served over the spaghetti sauted in olive oil and garlic. It was beautiful to look at and absolutely wonderful tasting. My husband had the tomato basil soup and good ole spaghetti and meatbals and enjoyed his choices. I disagree with a previous reviewer who commented on small portions. Our portions were plentiful. Service was excellent. Our waitress Karin had a pleasant personality, made some good recommendations, and was prompt. Service was very quick, but we appreciated that. We went at sunset you could view from your table just further enhancing the dining experience. On the way out we saw some great looking thin crust pizzas being served that we will return for on another night while in Honolulu.

the food and service was top drawer in this rest.delightful Japanese waitress made some great recommendations for food and drink. Not the cheapest option in the area, but certainly value for money.we ate in the outside area, which overlooks a drab side-street,but this didnt spoil a great dining experience.

“Delicious food, but small portions in a hurry”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

We tried this restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Dinner was delicious, but the portions were small and they could not wait to get us out for the next customers. Breakfast was a rip-off: you had to buy a full 'buffet' package of drinks, even if you only wanted a cup of coffee or one small glass of juice.
