Read reviews and menus for Honolulu before we went and had selected this restaurant as one we wanted to eat at for dinner. We selected well. We went early having skipped lunch and the restaurant was able to fit us in without having a reservation. When we left all the tables were filled, so it was good we went early. Both of us had the sirloin steak complete meals with fried rice instead of the steamed rice. The complete meal started with miso soup and a side salad. The salad was just ordinary and not needed. The miso soup was hot and okay. The rest of the meal was exceptional, though. Our chef Aaaron put on quite a show with volcano onions, flames, and fancy moves including spin eggs and knives. He heard our request for extra garlic and added a mound of garlic to the sirloin and fried rice stir fries. The steak almost melted in my mouth and was so flavorful. The fried rice was worth the extra $3 charged. The complete meal ended with a refreshing scoop of Hawaiian coffee flavored ice cream and green tea. The meal came to under $100 for the two of us, a fantastic deal for dinner, drinks, and a show in a major international city!
