“Gorgeous, but people die here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

Enjoy the awesomeness of huge waves, and the ocean's beauty, but don't be stupid here, or anywhere else in Hawaii. Diving off the cliffs is not for the inexperienced.

Every year, somewhere in Hawaii, someone dies because they underestimated nature, overestimated their abilities, or just plain behaved irresponsibly.

Hawaii is beautiful to most, but deadly to some.

“Great Sky Gazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

I went just after dusk - the sky was crystal clear, make sure to bring a flash light and a friend. Once you sit down away from the edge, just laying back and looking up at the sky, hearing the waves crash - is relaxing. Its a very hidden gem. I would have never known it was there if my friend who is a local hadn't taken me...

“Hidden gem down a hidden alley.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

Great location to watch those powerful waves. This place is hidden and it's hard to find. but it's a beautiful place for a short stop and watch the sunset. There is no exact address for this spot, but if you key in 5 Lumahai St. it will bring you there. There is no sign pointing you there. so look more carefully when you get there. it's hidden.

“Beautiful Views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014

This spot is a hidden gem. The climb down is a bit steep, but the climb back up had my heart pumping. It was well worth finding. The views are breathtaking and it is a very relaxing adventure once you get down the path. There were a few people there, and a couple of young adults were jumping off the rocks. I wouldn't recommend this as it looked rather dangerous, but they were having a good time and no one got hurt. The water and area are pristine and I would recommend it.

“A Highlight of our Honolulu Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

This spot is hidden in a residential area. If it were not for the directions we found online, we would have never found this gem. It is a slightly steep trek down, & obviously that steepness is trickier on the way back out. You should know this if you are traveling with children or anyone with a physical impairment. There are no rails or safety measures here, which I think adds to the thrill of it all. My husband and I did not want to leave. You cannot help but to admire & respect the view. I would definitely recommend it! Just make sure you wear shoes you're comfortable walking with on sometimes steep and uneven terrain.
