SUPER Great food, cute ambiance and quick service! First off if you like eggs bene you'll LOVE this place--there are at least 7 or 8 different varieties AND the best stuffed blueberry french toast. A little off the beaten path to get their but totally wroth the trip. Definitely our most favorite breakfast spot for the downtown-Waikiki area!!!

“Delicious Breakfast just a few minutes from Waikiki. Good as a break from the expense and touristy bustle of Waikiki.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

The food is simple, nicely presented and tastes awesome. Whatever spices, herbs or condiments they use make the favors excitingly unique and tasty. All the waiters are guys and they are very congenial and professional. It is located in a small mall down the street from the main Street turnoff and it has a free parking lot, so don't drive around looking for parking. It's quaint inside and the vibe is refreshing from all the hurried pacing of Waikiki.

“Great Food & Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Tucked away in Kapahulu, this place serves an amazing breakfast. After about a 10-15 minute wait, we entered this little restaurant to were pleasantly surprised. The decor is modern, with a clean and neat appearance. I had the French Toast and my daughter had an omelet. Loved every bite!

“Hard to find, hard to park, but worth the effort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

OMG--obsessed with breakfast places and having discovered SWeet E's Cafe about a year ago It is our go to place. When we first started going, the only negative was it was hard to find (right behind Mr. Ojisan on upper Kapahulu) and parking was dicey. Parking has not improved much, but now there is a heinous security guard to put up with who is the standing Nazi--seriously he tells you you can can/cannot stand in the parking lot. Alright already, I get the other merchants don't want you blocking their doors, but OMG I'm standing in the gore point of a parking p,ace and he wants me to move . Food is always great , service quick and friendly, the place is bright and clean, but now the waits are sometimes long b/c lots more folks are discovering it and the noise level has def increased, Priced very fairly too!

“Cozy neighborhood breakfast spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

In Kilohana Square near our rental house we tried Sweet E's for breakfast. We ordered the Hawaiian Omelet (meats including Portuguese sausage and ham, cheese, onion and green pepper); French Toast stuffed with bananas; and single side of French Toast with a bowl of fruit.
The fruit was great - sliced strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and a wedge of papaya. Stuffed French Toast was great too - each "slice" consisted of two pieces of bread with sliced bananas in the middle, made into one "slice" of stuffed French Toast. Three slices of stuffed French Toast to a serving. Giant glasses of ice water. Our group of three used a 2-top with an extra chair, and we were fine - this meant we waited only about 10 minutes. Very good service. Great neighborhood vibe; since it was early on a Sunday there were several families with small children.
