Spent 12 days here through the Thanksgiving Holiday season and have to say the hotel and services exceeded all our expectations. The check-in (located on the 2nd floor of the hotel) was quick and friendly. Our room, a junior suite, was spacious and clean with nice furnishings and large covered balcony. Liked the remote controlled A/C which was very effiecient and quiet. No flat screen tv, but the tv was large and upon request, we received a dvd player. The full-size kitchen (with four burner stove, oven, fridge and coffee maker) was a real plus for our 12 night stay! It was clean and well stocked. We prepared quite a few evening meals. Our bathroom did not have a tub, but it had a large tiled shower - and again, all was very clean.

The Service at the resort cannot be beat. From the front office staff to the valets, all were very friendly and eager to assist.

The location of the resort is great! The location of the resort worked out wonderfully for us. It is at far end of Waikiki and close to the Ala Moana mall. LIked the quieter location compared to central Waikiki. We had a car and like all properites, the $25 day park fee is steep. Yet this resort is close enough by foot to walk to central Waikiki or hop a shuttle, bus or car to any island destination. As a bonus, the gym on the hotel's main floor was convenient. Did not use the pool, although it looked nice. We have stayed at many properties in Hawaii - some very high end - but after our stay at the Waikiki Marina Resort, we see no reason to stay anywhere else.

Everything is 5 star. Rooms are super clean and spacious, with great access to shops and beaches. Super friendly staff, from the valet guy, to the bellman, to check in. Just an excellent experience by far. One negative thing is the cost for parking at this hotel is super expensive per night $25, but they do allow ins and outs throughout the day.

Had an excellent stay here. Entrance is through the Ilikai Hotel into the Resort. Perfect stay with friendly, personable staff and concierge to suggest what to do on the island. Stayed in the junior suite and the accomodations were great - spacious rooms, clean, well stocked kitchen. Location was great since its a 10 minute walk into the heart of Waikiki for partying and shopping, etc but away from all the noise too. We were too busy exploring the island all day so didn't care much for staying within the hotel itself so the Resort was perfect for us. I would definitely stay here again - its a great deal not breaking the bank for what you get on a week stay in Oahu!

We've been coming to the Ilikai for a number of years but find that we get the best deal through the Waikiki Marina Resort. The hotel itself is perfectly located, the rooms - even the Junior suites - are spacious, clean and well thought out, and having kitchen facilities for those times that we'd rather not dine out helps make our stay more enjoyable. The folks at Waikiki Marina Resort are excellent: knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and super efficient - whether it's arranging transport, forgotten personal items, or simply looking after our bags while we enjoyed our last day - they were always on the ball. We really enjoyed our stay there for the first two weeks in November - already looking forward to returning next year.
