We stayed here with teenage children so had two standard rooms on the same floor. Rooms were clean and well serviced. Not having an ocean view was not an issue for us as beach is just across the road. Caught the bus to Diamond Head from bus stop outside hotel and buses into Waikiki from a block up the road. Beach towels and a limited number of beach chairs available.

Not what I expected for the money we spent on a partial ocean view room, however clean and good location. For the same price can get better value also next to the beaches. Don't use the surf shop below - terrible service!!!

the great thing about Park Shore Waikiki is that it's a few seconds away from Waikiki beach, but just a building away from the corner thus giving it a little bit of a chill vibe away from the noise of the main street. The room was quiet and sufficient, service was excellent as well. Beside the hotel is Lulu's a restaurant and a bar that serves the best buffalo wings. Parking is at $25 a day but across is the Honolulu Zoo which has a more affordable public pay parking. Tucker and Bevvy, a nice restaurant that serves excellent sandwiches is at the lobby of the hotel as well. They also lend you beach towels and chairs at the lobby. Thanks Park Shore for a fantastic stay!

My husband and I came to Hawaii in July for the first time. We loved the island lifestyle. This resort was great if you like the busy Waikiki area. The hotel is within walking distance of all the great shopping and restaurants. There is a valet parking fee every night you stay here, just like every other hotel on Waikiki beach. Rooms were extremely clean, and the staff was wonderful.

This was an ideal spot to stay in Waikiki. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby and the beach is right across the road. We jogged up to Diamond Head, caught the bus to the shopping mall and did a tour to Pearl Harbour. Everything is accessible and easy. The lady on the expedia desk was helpful.

We checked in about midnight and there was a party going on next door, but our room was lovely and quiet. It wasn't a sea view room, but we could just see the ocean from the (small) lanai.

I liked the café downstairs, it had some healthier food options for breakfast or lunch. The complimentary juice in the foyer was appreciated - lying round on the beach can be thirsty work.

The hotel pool didn't look very exciting, but it didn't matter since we just went to the beach. There were a few beach chairs and boogie boards to borrow from the concierge.

A really nice, relaxing stay.

This hotel is at the end of the strip next to the zoo, opposite the park, looking at Diamond Head and opposite the beach with uninterrupted views of the ocean. There is no better hotels if you want views of the beach. We booked an ocean front room and it was our second visit to this hotel. The view is to die for and we spent many hours people watching and sunsets from our balcony with a cold one in our hands. The staff go out of their way to welcome you, make sure you are happy with your stay, give helpful advice about anything you want to know. Even the manager came to the pool and asked if everything was going good and even asked if there were any problems and asked our opinion if they could do anything better. Managers only show their face when they know the hotel is being run very well and I believe this hotel is spot on. I believe this is the best hotel for the value for money and one of the few that has space around it and not overlooking other hotels up in the concrete jungle where they are more expensive. There are buses at the door, cabs in plenty of supply, good restaurants nearby and a good swimming pool in the hotel grounds.

Room Tip: All ocean front rooms are worth paying the extra money for if you want a view of the ocean and it is...

We stayed at the Park Shore for a week in a corner room. I would definitely recommend booking a corner room. We stayed on the 15th floor, facing the ocean and overlooking the zoo and up toward Diamond Head. It was lovely sitting on the balcony as the sun went down and watching the surfers out on the breaks or in the afternoon, with a cool breeze blowing in from the ocean. Extremely handy to the beach - just across the road and handy to a couple of the bus stops for the different tourist bus routes and pick up for attractions too.
We caught the loop bus to Diamond Head - stops about 500 metres up from the hotel on the beachfront and the bus to one of the popular shopping centres - stop just around the corner outside the hotel next door.
Price was extremely reasonable for the location. Room was a good size with windows looking both north and west.
Staff were helpful and pleasant.
Restaurant/bar downstairs was reasonably priced with a good selection of meals. It was also popular with tourists, especially for breakfast on the weekend and evening meals. Either book ahead or expect up to an hour's wait for a table.
ABC stores downstairs and the coffee shop off the foyer were handy for picking up a cheap lunch sandwich or snack later in the evening.
I would definitely stay here again.
