Our room at the Ilikai was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is also a refrigerator and microwave, which were added bonuses so we could save some money on eating out. We had a view of Diamondhead and the city, very pretty at night. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and about 15 mins from the International Market and Waikiki Beach Walk. If you don't want to walk, the trolley stops right in front of the hotel-$2/person/one way. The restauant in the hotel is reasonably priced with good food. There is also a little store in the hotel, decent prices, but save some money and go to one of the numerous ABC stores within walking distance. The Hilton is right next door, with restaurants and shops (prices are definitely jacked up, but the pizza place was reasonable)-you must try the local ice cream at Lappert's. The hotel also provides beach towels, so save room in your suitcase. Free wi-fi. Overall, a very nice hotel.
