“good alternative to busy popular restaraunts”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Food quality and service was good but i didn't really enjoy the small size - felt i like i was eating in somebody's private dining room. but it's hard to beat the fact that you can bring your own alcohol.

“Great 'western' style rolls and fresh fish.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Not the prettiest place in town, but if you're looking for a great meal, this is it. Fish is fresh, and we ate loads of it. Lots of rolls to choose from. The sushi is OK, although not really perfectly made, I'd stick to the rolls - they are better. The owner is very nice. We went there on our last day in Waikiki. We'd go back again if we had more time. Definitely good sushi rolls. Don't trust the menu pricing pictures you see online - the prices have gone up. Good deal is that you get 3 pieces of sushi for what it normally costs for 2.

“great service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

We ate outside a few times during our week in Waikiki. Go early and ask for brown rice. The food was a bit on the salty side, but most food in Honolulu was like that. The house special rolls were the best!

“Delicious Hole-In-A-Wall Sushi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

Thanks to tripadvisor, found this hole-in-a-wall to feed my sushi craving. We were not disappointed! While we were outside checking out the menu, the owner came out to welcome us in. Super friendly mom/pop shop. I'm sure dining-in would've been enjoyable, but we opted for a to-go beach dinner. For 2 adults & a toddler, we ordered the Dragon, Spicy Ahi, Salmon Tempura & CA (for the little one) Rolls. The rolls were very fresh & huge! Food was worth the prices. About $10-14/roll. Great find, and would definitely come back!
