We were invited by our Hawaiian friends to go to a babies 1 yr birthday party here, lots of Hawaiian friends BBQing under beach shelters and enjoying a few cold beers, kids playing football on the beach, was alot of fun!
great to get away from main waikiki rocky beaches! not as many people, accessible toilets, soft sandy beach. a short walk into Waikiki
This is without doubt the best beach in Waikiki. It is absolutely safe and well protected by the reef. If you stay at the Kaimana Beach Hotel you have direct access. Give it a go!
This is east of Waikiki beach, there are bathrooms and showers. Not exactly the most inviting bathroom and showers ;) Its still busy though.
Kaimana is a popular local beach with beautiful views. It's great for picnics and swimming, and keep an eye out for the fish; you're likely to see quite a few kinds swimming close to you.
