“Peaceful Place in the City... Sometimes”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

A nice peaceful place to walk through during the week. Have been there on the weekend, and was surprised to see many families with out of control children. It's a garden, not a playground!

“Good place to wander around and relax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

Enjoyed taking time out from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki to enjoy the very lush botanical gardens. Took the tour with Cindy which was very informative.

“Take a leisurely stroll in the woods”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

The trees here are spectacular. You'll probably not see anything like it anywhere. There are occasional concerts, but usually it's just a beautiful, quiet place to be with nature.

“A place of beauty and peace in the middle of the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

For only a $5 entry fee, you can stroll around and enjoy all the interesting plants, trees, and flowers or just sit peacefully on the many shaded benches around the gardens and listen to the birds sing. There are many very large and interesting exotic and native trees, a butterfly garden full of pretty flowers, an orchid house, and other beautiful plants. A very nice break from the city and a change of scenery from the beach.
