I love to tour old homes, castles and mansions. When I saw this I put it on the list. First of all don't go toward the end of the day, the staff starts cleaning up and clearing items, such as the flower arrangements throughout the palace. Now it is something to see in of its self, however the furnishings are sparce. The audio tour if mostly history, which I did at least learn something, it leaves a lot of time to stand and listen to the history lesson. The basement, saved for the end of the tour is very interesting. You can see some of the royal jewels, they are fabulous, do not miss this part. The fee to see this attraction-plus parking.....hummm, a bit much. I guess they're trying to keep this palace open supported by the tourist.
