“Adequate hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013 via mobile

Looking for clean, centrally located, good valued hotel and friendly staff..this is it. Cons are small pool area, very limited drink/bar and restaurant option (1 of each), as well as noisy mornings from street.
Would not recommend either way.

After reading tons of reviews, we finally booked a three-night stay at the Waikiki Parc. We are so glad we did!! The hotel was very comfortable, the staff helpful, and the location perfect. We upgraded to an ocean view room with balcony. We had a clear view to the blue waters of the Pacific from our 12th floor corner room. The small balcony was a lovely place to unwind, and wine after a long day in the craziness that is Waikiki.
Just a half block away is Lewers Street with its many shopping and dining opportunities. A branch of the ABC stores that dot the city is close so one can pick up all the viands for a beach-side or balcony picnic.
The hotel itself is very quiet and low key....

Room Tip: The higher the floor facing the ocean, the better the view. There is a bit of noise, primarily from...

The Waikiki Parc is a great value for being in the center of Waikiki. There are various different packages offered including free parking and breakfast, If available when you travel, make sure you take advantage of these packages. This small boutique style hotel has a cool contemporary feel when you enter and move toward the lobby. The rooms are on the smaller side and I would describe them as contemporary cozy. The bathrooms are dated and need some renovation. We tried Nobu, the hotel's signature restaurant, for a special dinner. The food was really good but portions were small. The waiter was very knowledgeable and gave some good recommendations. The hotel has signing privileges with the Halekulani across the street to use their spa and dining outlets. If you are a hotel guest of the Waikiki Parc, you can show your room key at the Bishop Museum and get in free. We visited this wonderful Museum and learned quite a bit about the Hawaiian people and culture. If you are looking for a nice hotel with a fair price and in a good location, try the Parc.

Room Tip: book deluxe ocean view room. These are on the higher floors and you look out over the Halekulani (a...

We were greeted with a porter who managed our bags, the reception were courteous, helpful and efficient. The hotel was air-conditioned with a pleasant entrance back and front of the hotel. Our room was a reasonable size with a small balcony and ocean view. Room service was good. It is situated only a few steps from the beach, restaurants and shops so ideally placed. The tour buses were across the road and a handy shop on the corner which supplied all our basic needs.
The concierge was helpful and knowledgable. The pool was ok but no shade during midday sun .
The only complaint was the beeping noise from delivery trucks backing from 6am every day.
I recommend this hotel but bring earplugs if you want an ocean view

Room Tip: Level 8 had a large balcony from their ocean view room compared to level 16 which had a small balcon...

This is our honeymoon trip and our 2nd stay at the Waikiki Parc. Our 1st stay was mediocre but we chose this hotel again mainly due to the room rate, free parking and location that cannot be beat. We rented a car for this trip and this hotel offers FREE parking which I don't think any other hotels in the same area do, if you do pay for parking at this hotel its $40/day! We upgraded and paid for an "Ocean Prime Room", we did get a great view of the ocean but we also got a great view of the other hotels which obstructs your view. The hotel is decent but the rooms are in need of a renovation, the carpets are a little dirty, the bathroom tiles are dirty and discoloured, the glass on the sliding door was broken/cracked as you can see in the photo and was patched up with tape? I love how the manager left us a welcoming note and cookies, that was a very nice way to start our stay. The housekeeper was great as well and did a great job cleaning our room and noticing little details like I used their complimentary q-tips and she/he placed extra packets out the next time.

Pro: - Location! Right in the smack of the middle of waikiki, you can basically walk everywhere but we wanted to explore Oahu so we rented a car.
- Free Parking! Once again, hawaii is not cheap and neither is parking! $30-$40/day for parking is a rip off so this hotel that offers free parking is awesome, even on the day we checked out we had free parking until midnight.
- Free Wifi
- Hospitality room to use once you have checked out and have a later flight (Do not expect it to be fancy; its a simple shower/toilet room that isn't super clean but hey its free and for you to use to freshen up)
- Great room rate compared to similar hotels in the area

Cons - Rooms need an upgrade
- Ocean view room is not as great as you would hope/pay for.

Room Tip: Higher floor, upgrade to an ocean prime room
