Been to Hawaii at least 30 times...seen most everything there is to see. Thought it would be cool to take a short dinner cruise....what a mistake! From the moment you board the bus at the hotel till the moment you get of bus after "cruise" everything feels rushed...and crowded, with the majority of people being from Japan. I opted for the least expensive option...the "buffet" Stil cost me something like $60....When I finally got seated on boat, it was not on one of the upper decks, but was under the bow on the lowest level. The plexiglass windows were so cloudy you could not even see outside.....Mai tais were served pretty quick, and it was actually not that bad. If you wanted more drinks they were 8 bucks..ouch....and the bartender upstairs seemed very confused when I asked for a whiskey 7 up. Hostesses had people go into the buffett line by table, which was fine....my table was the last one to go..and by the time we got there there was almost no food left.....no salad, a few grains of rice pilaf, no veggies, one very tired looking slimey hunk of chicken, and roast beef with no au jus left. I was like...you are bringing more food out right...and the guy carving the roast beef said no...that was it. Needless to say i was a little upset...and said something to one of the servers...she just shook her head and walked away. Finaly walked upstairs and found some cheese and crackers sitting outside the main dining room, and was told I could not have any because I had the wrong sticker on my shirt. By this time I was tempted to jump overboard and swim for shore. I went to Mcdonalds when bus got us back to hotel....I was that hungry. I will never again for any reason give this group my money...I don't care if they are the last dinner cruise on earth....stay away if you know what's good for you.
