Make sure to book a tour, or you could be waiting a very long time to get in. Very well ran, and very educational. Make suer you don't have any bags with you.

“Should be required of every American visitor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

Very well done. Much to learn and see on the whole property including haunting visit to the memorial itself. Very helpful reminder of the incredible sacrifice of more than 1,000 of our country's finest during a time that changed America (and the world) forever.
Go online the day before at recreation.gov to book tickets - but factor in that on windy days the afternoon tours may get cancelled by high winds. It happened to us, but they rebooked us for the next morning and all worked out well. Separately, make sure you visit the Missouri. It's pricey, but well worth it. Amazing technology for 70 years ago.

“Poignant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

I have always wanted to visit this memorial; it was on my bucket list of things to do in my lifetime! The experience was even better than I had imagined - respectful and dignified. The PH Visitor Centre was great and very educational. We were very luck in that our midday visit was the second to last of the day - they stopped the trips after 12.30pm; not sure why as the weather was perfect. To have come all the way from England and not have been able to see the Arizona would have been heartbreaking. I still can't believe that I have been to Pearl Harbor! Amazing!!
