They only limit the number of people who can go to the memorial. Go early to get the ticket. it's free.

“A very Intense place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

I enjoy going to these areas and seeing an important place in history.

First you walk around, see the different exhibits in their museum halls. You then go watch a short film about the attacks on Pearl Harbor, than jump aboard a boat that takes you to the USS Arizona Memorial, where you can walk on the area where the ship sank. It was Intense just seeing the remains of the ship, all the names of those who were lost in the tragedy, and the view of the graveyard of ships that were sunk on December 7th. Definitely something you must see when visiting Hawaii. Rich in US History.

Not much to dislike about this place, it is very well kept and has everything to inform you on all the events that happened leading up to the attacks.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Wonderful, very moving and emotional tour with a half hour film showing actual footage of this atrocity before going by boat to the Arizona site. Great photos can be taken of surrounding harbour, the Missouri and other memorials and points of interest.

I loved how silent and respectful everyone was at the Memorial. You have to visit it at least once in your lifetime.
