“A breakfast not to be missed ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

Breakfast perfection! This cozy and bright breakfast spot is a must for next time I am back in Newport. The staff was friendly and the food delicious. The sausages and French toast were some of the best I've ever had. The made to order omelette was cooked perfectly and when we asked for hot sauce they offered three favorite of my favorite options. We got there early and didn't have a wait but the was a line by the time we left. It would be worth the wait.

“Terrific dinner service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

I've visited Corner Cafe for breakfast, which (as seemingly every other reviewer has noted) was fantastic (Ponderosa burrito). I had no idea until this week that they serve dinner. Breakfast and lunch are served all day, but they did have a few specialty dinner items. Everyone at our table went with pizza, which was terrific.

Had the Purgatory Parfait for dessert (white chocolate mousse with berries). While they don't mention this on the menu (or tell you unless you ask), you can request they type of berries you want in your parfait.

We were very impressed with how accommodating they were with our three-year-old. As soon as we sat down, he had two activity books, stickers, and a lot of crayons to play with--he loved it, and so we loved it!

We'll be back!

“Small but very good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014 via mobile

We went to the Corner Cafe for breakfast and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by a line of people waiting to be seated and we were thinking the wait would be too long. We were pleasantly surprised when we were seated within 15 minutes. I ordered eggs benedict and my wife ordered an omelet. Both were very good with large portioning. The food was definitely worth the wait and the service was excellent. If you want a great breakfast the Corner Cafe is the place to eat.

“Awesome breakfast & lunch place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

Ate at this cafe two days on our 3 day trip to Newport in January. So many choices and everything our group of 4 had was excellent. Fresh, tasty, creative, and reasonably priced! On our first visit, we were blown away by the fresh fruit cup that accompanied our breakfast order....it contained large plump raspberries and blackberries, in addition to melon, etc. Would highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. I expect that dinner is awesome too, just didn't see the menu.

“Perfect Sunday brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

Great place for brunch. It's quite small, and we had to wait a bit. But it was totally worth it! I had the healthier option of whole grain pancakes with fresh fruit and yogurt. My husband had a nice omelette with roasted potatoes and toast. We were both very happy with the service. And subtle upbeat music added to the cozy atmosphere. Will definitely return for more.
