My fiance and I stayed here to celebrate our engagement, and the experience exceeded our expectations! The innkeeper, Cindy, was very hospitable and always made sure we were enjoying our stay. She was always there when we needed her but also gave us our privacy. She joyfully prepares a delicious breakfast every morning, and there is always fresh coffee and tea. The place itself is beautiful, and rooms are newly renovated. Plenty of parking and close to town. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property. Great Innkeeper. We honeymooned here and went back for our first anniversary. The location is wonderful and every time we came back from an outing we felt like we were coming home. The rooms were romantic, and the breakfast Cindy made was outstanding.

We went to the Bayberry for our honeymoon for 3 nights in the Honeymoon Suite. The room was amazing; Beautiful bed, amazing Jacuzzi. The best part was the service; Cindy was extremely attentive, friendly, personable and a great cook. I definitely recommend her French Toast. Coffee was always available as well as snacks. The room was always perfect when we came back. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our honeymoon. The Inn is located close to Thames Street by the water with excellent shops and restaurants. Even the other guests were friendly and personable. This is a definite place to get away.

Room Tip: Honeymoon suite has a wonderful 2 person Jacuzzi and is located in the corner of the building away f...

This place was fantastic and so romantic! We had the Honeymoon Suite which had a King sized bed, jacuzzi in the living room and a huge bathroom. Absolutely beautiful room!

Cindy's hospitality was super! Her cookies and breakfast were marvelous!

Those of you who have never been to Newport, this is the perfect spot. You can leave your car in the parking lot and walk everywhere from the Inn.

Have a nice stay, we sure did :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Bayberry Inn. This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here while visiting Newport. It's a great location, clean rooms, and great breakfast. Cindy the innkeeper was wonderful, really attentive to our needs and very friendly.

After much research, I decided on a 5 night stay at this lovely B&B. The final decision was made after talking to Cindy on the phone! She couldn't have been more helpful! My flight had been delayed therefore our arrival to the Bayberry was not until 2 a.m. We were welcomed with a smile from Cindy at that hour!!! Amazing!! We stayed in the Ann Hunter room on the first floor...stunning...The first morning she made breakfast for us early as we had an appointment in town. Loved the "Baked French Bread". She is an amazing cook, our full breakfasts were delicious every morning! The location was perfect, less than a 10 minute stroll the the main area. As a former small hotel owner myself, the owners of the Bayberry Inn have no idea what a treasure they have in Cindy as an employee, she absolutely takes pride in running this B&B with love...We are planning to return to Newport and we will be booking at the Bayberry again!! Thank you Cindy for a wonderful stay!!

The Inn itself and the Innkeeper are amazing. We hit a bump with making the reservation but in the end it was all worth it. The location is great, the breakfasts are always delicious and Cindy was very accommodating. My only problem was making a one night reservation was not allowed but we had tried making it over the phone. In the end, the house didn't fill so we were given the one night but the owners upped the price. I found this somewhat annoying. Other then this one issue it was a great stay. Like I said, the innkeeper really went above and beyond. Newport is a beautiful place to visit. Went to lots of great restaurants and enjoyed the ocean view everywhere we went! It always seems like there is something new to discover!
