We followed the very positive reviews to Bouchard and were happy we did. This place is simply terrific in every way. Food, service, and ambiance were a cut above and prices were very fair considering the skill and care given to the preparation of your meal.
Highlights were the Pate du Foie du Chef ($11) which was silky and creamy. It was served with delicious toast and sweet caramelized onions. The Tranche de Boeuf, sliced beef with a peppercorn gravy and raisins that was as tender and flavorful as can be. ($36). The most interesting dish was Magret de Canard, a tender duck breast dusted with coffee (yes coffee) that was as outstanding as it was different. ($30)
For desert order your souffle at the start of your meal, and you'll be rewarded with a light as air sumptuous souffle.
