“A little pricey, lobster roll was big”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

Our family has spent many summers in Kennebunkport, and we were honestly a little taken aback at the price of a lobster roll ($20) at Aquideck. It was packed with lobster, but we've never paid more than $12-$15 in Maine for some that were better. The lobster was not particularly sweet...didn't seem totally fresh which was surprising given that there are tanks and tank of lobsters in the place. Also, the roll was buttered and toasted...made the roll kind of greasy. There should be an option for buttered or just toasted. The service, however, was excellent, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the yachts go in and out of the harbor.

“Our annual visit was as good as it gets!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Every year when we vacation in Newport we go out of our way to make it down to Bowens Warf to grab a Lobster Dinner at Aquideck Lobster Company. We were seated outside on the outside deck overlooking the Harbor which is a wonderful location. The Service was great and the Lobster Dinner was first rate. We will be back next year. Great Job!!!

“Food is Average, Pricey, But Good Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

It is a fish market which did not bother us because it was fun to look at all the live lobsters. The food is just average, but pricey. But you expect that from such a touristy area. Had the fish and chips. The portion was a good size but very greasy. My dad had the lobster roll and it was fine. Should had better seasoning. The clam chowder was watery but tasty. And the fried calamari was good in portion but again greasy. We came here because it was right next to Sightsailing and the reviews overall was that it was decent. But, I think every place is the same in price and taste. But, it was nice to sit outside right by the water. We got there around noon so it was not as crowded and got seated right away. Any later and it would have been difficult to get a table. If you want a quick less expensive no frills meal, there was a stand around the way right next to Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop that sold hot dogs and bowl of clam chowder that looked really delicious.

“Tourist trap/WAY overpriced”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

I rated "poor" mainly because of the horrible service and overpriced menu. Yes, it's gorgeous to sit outside overlooking the water, but you sure do pay for that view. The steamers were outstanding, but $19??? wow. Our waitress was very young, and must have been her first job cause the service was terrible. I would not return to this place.

“Great view, delicious hot lobster roll”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Watched a lobster boat pull up alongside the restaurant, full of lobsters which got brought immediately inside! How cool! Totally casual, great view on the water, watching sailboats, dinghies, and mega yachts go by... Hubby got a lobster dinner, I had lobster roll -- both great.
