“Location, location, location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Get a seat on the dock and take in Newport at its best! My husband and i stopped there during a recent afternoon and had fried shrimp & fried clams. The breading is a bit heavy. Probably should have had the lobster (given the name of the joint!), but overall, very tasty and fresh seafood. Service was very good. Drinks were very good. Location superb!

“Local Fav”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

My cousin, who lives in Newport, took us to this restaurant. It is built on what was a commercial dock and you still have that ambiance - rough deck boards, stacks of water tubs with live lobsters and fish and open views of Newport Harbor. We had the lobster rolls and they stuffed full with lobster meat. Their steamed clams are also large and tasty. It's a great place if you don't want to dress for dinner. Heck, it's a great place anytime.

“What a great find on the Warf in Newport, RI”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

To start Newport, RI has some great restaurants, great food, and many many beautiful yachts. Over the years while vacationing in Newport my wife and I love to enjoy the local chicken of the sea, Lobster. You don't feel like you have been in Newport unless you have had a Lobster or two or three. On previous trips to the area we would always, for one special night go down to the Warf and pick out Lobsters from the tanks at the Aquidneck Seafood store built right over the water. A few years ago the owners decided to add a Restaurant and bar at the back of the seafood market. So today, you walk right past these huge Lobster Tanks filled to the brim with Lobsters from the littlest chicks on up to this year an 8 pound beast. The owners have done a real nice job making a very comfortable indoor and outdoor setting to sip a beer enjoy not only great food but fabulous views of some of the largest yachts in the land. This place is not to be missed. Enjoy!!!

“Nice harbor view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

Had the jumbo fried shrimp which lived up to its name. The calamari app was okay. Service and view are great. Better lunch place than dinner.

“Down To Earth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

A great addition to the local flavor. The atmosphere was friendly ,casual and laid back. surrounded by a beautiful harbor and sailing vessels. Sampled the watermelon sangria and vodka infused pineapple drink suggested by the good natured bar tenders. Can get a good quick lobster roll before a summer concert series which is just a stroll away.
