“Great find in an expensive town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

Four of us went to Sunday brunch and had a great meal. Creative omlettes, lots of beni choices and banana French toast: YUMMY! Great Bloody Mary's and Mimosas! Service was spot on and the background music was great. Highly recommend!

“Super casual, excellent food, quick bar service and fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

We headed up to Pour Judgement, just a few minutes away from the waterfront on Broadway. A local restaurant/bar/watering hole that gets a great mix of people from biker chic to jacket and tie for the commuters on their way home. Plenty of draught beer choices as well as bottles, wine and mixed drinks. Watch the bartenders hustle especially during dinner hours. They really bust!
The menu is a mix of pub and specials. The burgers are very large, the seafood stew was huge and the beer was cold. And the prices could not be beat. Guess that is why the place is usually packed. Couldn't ask for more . Check it out!

“Great place for value, good food and beer.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

We were recommended to go here by a friendly and helpful state trooper we met in Pittsfield. He swore this was the place to go and he always looked forward to a beer here after one of his tours abroad as a marine.

We were glad we took his advice....he was right! The place was full and buzzing so we went onto the board to be seated. The man looking after the board is cheerful and a very pleasant person. We got a great table by the window to people watch. We are from Ireland and on a motorcycle trip around America so it is great to find places like this.

Magic chicken wings! Hot 'n spicy as they should be and big as turkey wings Lovely.
The burgers were excellent...big, juicy and made with real good beef and complete with salad and pickle. Well done to chef as a true professional.....it is always a pleasure to eat food so well prepared.

I like and will only drink good real beer....I will not drink what the big corporations call "beer". It is no where near what beer should be. To be frank a lot of it is rubbish. Here, I had an excellent tasty, smooth, real larger (blond) beer that was not too hoppy nor sweet. Yes...they went down very well indeed. My GF's cocktails were delicious and good value.

The value here is great and we have paid far more for a burger half as good. Service was good even though the place was packed...anyway why rush? We were out for the night and enjoyed watching and having a drink.

Yes...now we would recommend this for a fun night out for a good meal with excellent beers/cocktails.

“lunch on the go...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

If you drink beer, you'd have given this place 5 stars.
We just had lunch and lemonade, and while it was no homerun,
it was very good. They were a bit overwhelmed, service-wise, though so were a bit slow on the uptake and were out of a few things on the menu. Guess they hadn't planned on a big holiday crowd mid-day. Glad they had the TVs, though. We watched tennis while we ate. Worth a look-see.

“Good Food & Beer without the Waterfront Prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Had the blue cheese Judgement burger. Took a chance and ordered it rare/medium rare...hot & crispy outside, raw in the middle. Nothing like a rare burger to tell you about the quality of the kitchen and meat...it was great! The rest of our party was also happy with their food & drink. Plus, the price was reasonable and I love the rustic atmosphere. The only downside was that most of the seating is not designed for more than a party of four.
