This is an excellent walk but unfortunately the storm knocked out about half of it. Hope they'll bring it back.

“Spectacular views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

I had been to Newport before and walked around the mansion district and somehow missed the Cliff Walk! It goes along the back of the Mansions along the water. Would be a great place for a morning run. Also, a great spot to swim off the rocks.

“Beautiful Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

The Cliff Walk was a definite on out to-do list in Newport. Part of it was closed due to Hurricane Sandy, but there was plenty open to walk. We parked at The Breakers Mansion and walked around the block to an entrance. The view is really pretty of both the water and the mansions along the cliffs. Plenty of photo ops!

“Wonderful way to see Newport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Great relaxing way to see Newport. Bring your walking shoes, some of the path is uneven. Part of the walk is closed for construction.

“Lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Part of the cliff walk was closed for rehab, but the section that was open was spectacular. The cliff walk runs in front of the mansions and give you another perspective of those beautiful mansions.
