The good:
The room was fairly spacious and looked nice
The front staff were fine
The breakfast was pretty good for a low end hotel - it wasn't fantastic but at least it wasn't someone that ran to Costco for the morning - it was a couple of steps up from that.
The bed was reasonably comfortable.

The bad:

The really really bad part was the pool. It was horrifically dirty. (This is an indoor pool.)
1. It was the coldest indoor pool I've ever been in.
2. The water was dirty - the visibility was only 3 feet.
3. I had a mask on and could see under water - among other things I saw a dead spider, dead pill bug & dead ant floating around in the muck in the pool. I really don't know when the last time the pool was cleaned.

The towels in the room were rank. It's not nice to towel off after a shower and get stinky!

There was a blood stain on the sheet on the bed!

The hallways were rather run-down with carpet bunched up. The room was fine but the hallway smelled like smoke - the kind that is just in the walls.

“Good for the price, good breakfast”

Quality Inn & Suites

This was a pretty old, run down hotel, but it was clean and the room we had was huge and cheap. The service was good and it is in an excellent location just off the freeway. The hot tub was broken the first night and the roof of the pool looked like it was going to collapse but we had the hot tub to ourselves which was fun. Breakfast was better than a basic continental with some hot eggs and bacon. There was also free internet access in a little office, which we really appreciated.

We were in town for a funeral, was a little nervous because of prior reviews, but found the place nice and the front desk staff were great. Our room was clean, the breakfast was good, and our housekeeper knew we were there for a funeral and asked if we needed extra time in the room. We were very pleased.

we had a good stay, they must have had a bad run for awhile due to the other reviews, but we had nothing to complain about. The breakfast was great, I did notice that the pool room itself was being repainted, but the water was perfect, and the staff went out of their way to let us know if the paint bothered us, they would reimburse us going to a city pool. we'll definitely stay again.

Filthy.. disgusting... and the help was NO help.

First room: bathroom not cleaned.

Second room: hair in one bed on the pillows and dirty kleenex between the sheets in second bed. Floors filty and not vacuumed.
Small blood spots on blanket and bloody fingerprint on wall next to light switch.

It took 45 minutes for the surly desk attendees to get us a THIRD room. If it hadn't been late at night and if I had known my way around the area, I would have left. Being a senior female, I was uncomfortable about traveling at night in an unknown area.

One stairwell was so disgusting that I took a photo of it. It looked like it had been used for a very long time to take garage cans down the stairs.. the carpet was so bad, that I walked on the edges.

The entire building area looked like it needed completely new management. Even the sheets were wrinkled liked they had been taken out of dryer damp and stuffed into a laundry basket. The desk clerk said when they are removed from the dryer, they are not folded.

This review is just a sample of the poor conditions.

I will NEVER stay at another Quality Inn.. NEVER..
