I visited the restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. We arrived early for our reservation, and apparently before the restaurant opens, at 5. We were greeted at the door by a very pleasant staffer, and advised to head to the back patio, which they may still be setting up. Once there, the staff all stared at us, and no one offered to seat us. We asked if we could sit, and we were questioned whether we had a reservation. Once they decided it was ok for us to sit, we sat for 20 or more mintes until we were able to order a drink and an appetizer. We wanted the sangria but were advised that the man brining the ingredients for it was moving a couch so it wasn't ready. We waited an hour and a half before we could order it, which was delicious by the time we were able to taste it. By the time we ordered the service was just fine, and the waitesss very friendly. Days later, I realized I was charged twice in error for dinner. I notified my back and left a message for the restaurant. It took La tee da 2 days to call me back, and when they did I was advised to come in for the credit. Once I did, the owner, Sherrie, told me it was my responsibility to look over my recepit, which I did, I only had 1 copy to sign. It turned out one of my collegues that was also dining with me had given her card for her dinner, and my card was swiped for her dinner instead of her own. Sherrie then asked me what we were going to do about her "dilemma" since she was out of monety, and asked me to contact my collegue for the money she was owed. I felt this was very uncomofortable, and inappropriate. She asked for her name, called the other woman we were dining with and left a message for her as well, and ended up calling the assitant director of our employer whom she apparently knew and asked him to give a message to the woman who was mistakenly not charged for her dinner!!!! Harrassment!!! She has lost more than a few good customers because of this, what an unpleasant experience. I don't care how good the sangria is, I will never go back!
