“Phenomenal food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

Outstanding food, terrific prices, attentive service. Everything from fried baloney sandwiches to perfect chops with brandied peaches. Every item on the menu looked to be worth trying. Genuine "typical Buffalo Bar". Wow!

“Boomerangs will bring you back time and time again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Funny, a light went off after we returned from our recent trip to Europe, when I realized that I always write reviews of the places we visit when we travel. However we don't write reviews of our local gems (at least I haven't until now!).

Boomerangs is a special place for us, it's like Cheers...the place where "everyone knows your name". We walk in and get an immediate greeting from Joanne, one of the friendliest bartenders in Buffalo...along with Dimitri who comes a close second! Next is a hug from Tom-Tom the manager, who looks after everyone. Great guy!

We moved down to this area 7 years ago and discovered Boomerangs about 5 years ago and it had now become a favorite stop for us every time we go "over the bridge".

The food and prices are incredible...we often ask "how can they do this for $12.00+?". We have eclectic tastes and enjoy 'high end', 'regular' and 'just good food' restaurants, and for us Boomerangs is a great meeting place with excellent food at unbelievably low prices. The chef at Boomerangs and the food presentation there is so good that he deserves a great big medal, for producing it at the prices that they charge...and for the presentation!

We've recommended Boomerangs (now known to our friends as Boomers) to many people and they, in turn recommend it to their friends and none have been disappointed!

Boomerangs is our local gem!

“Great Vegetarian Options, Fresh Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

Never had a bad meal here and the prices are all under $10. The chef will transform whatever he can into a vegetarian option, including a double-decker Reuben sandwich.

Casual and friendly atmosphere. Just a decent neighborhood joint -- but a gem!

“Decent Niagara Street Bar/Restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2012

While this casual restaurant/bar had good food, it wasn't anything to write home about. everything was of good quality (we had pasta, cheeseburger, chicken fingers for kids) but unless you are in the area, it wouldn't somewhere I would "travel" to, as there are many places with similar menus and quality around Buffalo. I will say it was very convenient to Kleinhans which we were going to afterwards.
