My teenage son and I were in Buffalo on a Friday night for a Leafs-Sabres game. We asked the parking lot attendant where we could get something to eat while we waited for HSBC to open at 7. He suggested the Pearl Street Grill, about a 5-10 minute walk from the arena. We arrived just after 5:30 p.m. and the place already had a 1 hour wait for a table. It's a huge place in an old converted factory/warehouse. Fortunately, they were running an all-you-can-eat buffet on the 3rd floor for $13 including tax and gratuity. The food was great; buffalo wings, pizza, pasta, roast beef, cold veggies, salads and buns. Draft beer was $3.75 and soft drinks were free. It was a big room with lots of round tables that seated 10-12 people. They ran out of wings and pizza a few times, but were quick to bring more. When we left at 6:45, the lower 2 floors were wall-to-wall people. Mainly a 20s crowd and lots of Blue & White. There are few choices in this area of Buffalo, but the Pearl Street Grill would be great even if there were more choices. Highly recommended, but not a place to go for a quiet romantic meal if it's game night.
