The restaurant is located in the downtown Buffalo area and has an old town feel to it. The menu has a good selection of food, and the beer selection is good. It is a pub, so it is fairly noisy and not conversation friendly if you are with a large party. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dishes, which ranged from a typical pub burger, fish, ribs, salads, and sandwiches.
We had a reservation for a large group of 25, yet they only had one waitress assigned to the group. It took a long time to get drinks, to get food orders in, and to finally get our food. Our food came out in batches such that those who got their food first were almost done eating by the time the last people got served. Again, while the food was above average, the service was lacking and maybe having large groups just isn't something they are set up to handle. This isn't a knock against the restaurant and I think the experience for a smaller group would have been better.
The restaurant itself seems a little dingy and not all that clean. The men's bathroom was a little dingy and had pipes dripping onto the ground. This is what keeps this restaurant from getting the highest rating.
