“Great time, year round”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013 via mobile

.This is the restaurant id recommend to anyone from out of town, or locally. It is always great, day in day out. Any time of the day, any month out if the year. I have had countless good times here, whether its for a wedding, sabres game, banquet, or just a random night to grab food or beers. Good for darts, bubble hockey, watching a game. There are people wearing suits, but there are also the casual crowd as well. Amazing beers, i love them all

“Great beer and good times.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

We had lunch at Pearl Street just in time for the first Sabres game of the season (thanks to the NHL lockout). I think that's part of what made it a great time-- the Sabres play just down the street, and we might have been the only people in the place not wearing jerseys! Watching the game with the locals was great fun. They had a good beer selection, and the ones I had were solid. Good burgers. Just all around a cool laid-back place for good pub grub.

“A Local Favorite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

When my brother visits from California, he always insists on stopping here. Some friendly folks and engaging bartenders can share their wealth of knowledge about Buffalo's history; past and present :-)

“Pearl st brewery”

Went to this brewery while visiting downtown Buffalo. Good wings and beer. Service was good. Try the gouda soup.
Would recommend.

“Average food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

The clientele can be annoying. Lots of drunk twenty somethings. It is a bar, so if you want to go for the youthful bar atmosphere, this is a good place to go. You will wait for a table on the weekend or on the night of another local event downtown.

The last entree I had there was gross. Sloppy melted cheese on a rubbery chicken breast. Four young, drunks at the table next to us talking about their conquests and cursing. It wasn't great to have had children at our table. I couldn't wait to leave.
