“I recommend this hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

Hi:
This hotel is easily a four and the service pushed it over the edge to a 5.
decent location, large clean rooms.
The manager's reception (free drinks) and the breakfast are both good.
I'd stay here again if visiting Buffalo.

This is the first time we stayed at the Embassy Suites, though we have stayed at another Hilton chain (Hilton Garden Inn). The bedroom is a nice size, as is the bathroom and living area. One complaint is the frosted glass in the bedroom door. With the door closed, the light shines into the bedroom if someone uses the bathroom or if someone has a light on in the living area. On the night we were there, the hotel had a wedding reception there. Even though we were on the 4th floor, we could hear the music bass as we were trying to go to sleep. At this particular hotel, we reserved a queen suite, which in our case would be sleeping 5. Yet, there were only 3 bath towels in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom was missing a spare roll of toilet paper, which we had to call down and request a new roll. On the plus side the complimentary cook to order breakfast was delicious. It was basically the same breakfast that we had to pay for at the Hilton Garden Inn in DC. In closing, this place was adequate, We were disappointed that the bathroom was lacking supplies (enough towels and spare toilet paper) thus we had to call the desk.

Room Tip: When you first get there, make sure you have enough towels and toilet paper on supply in the bathroo...

I stayed for a football trip and agree with the other reviews, great omelet bar, great staff and very nice, large rooms especially the bathrooms. My only disappointment was that it did not have an atrium and seemed smaller than others I have stayed at but again, it is in the city. Friends said that on Friday night the bar/restaurant area was staffed by one waitress and they had long waits for food. The managers reception was held in the same area where breakfast was served which was on the small side. Our group had a buffet setup for dinner and the food was excellent.
Beds were very comfortable. Pool/hot tub very nice also. There is no reason not to love this Embassy Suite.

Room Tip: The bedroom had a window but not living room - could have been the location, but made it seem very d...

What a great place located downtown on Delaware Ave ( right next to the New Era Cap flagship store ) Rooms are HUGE and the staff are very very friendly.

I reccomend this place to anyone who is visiting the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area.

Room Tip: Make sure to book early if you are going on a weekend as alot of Bills fans stay there.

This hotel was suggested by my friend who knew we were staying overnight in Buffalo. It was a PERFECT choice. We loved the suites (separate bedroom, living room, and beautiful bathroom). Extremely comfortable bed. Quiet hallways. Beautiful decor throughout the common areas. Breakfast included with an omelet station that was fabulous. They only have valet parking (a $15 added fee) but we had known about this, so weren't surprised.... plus it was efficient and effective for easy in and out on brisk Fall days. We WILL return!

Buffalo and Niagara Falls (American Side) still appears to be suffering financially and spiritually. Most of the landscape is dark and depressing to the countless number of abandoned manufacturing and steel sites. BUT... this hotel operates like an oasis. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were all very large, clean, and stylish. The free breakfast rivals some mid-tier restaurants.
Its best feature is the free cocktail hour. Decent selection of beer, mid-level spirits and non-alcoholic beverages, and fairly tasty snacks (homemade chips, hummus, cheese and crackers, veggies and dip) are included. Plus, the bar tender and manager went above and beyond to accomodate everyone including children. The whole experience was outstanding. This place is highly recommended.
