“Great Indian Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

The indian food is wonderful, spiced to your liking. Service is very friendly and helpful with food, but lost on wine. As an overseas traveller, I asked what a good American wine might be on the list. The guy had no idea what I was talking about. Still, I would definitely come here again

“Try the Himalayan dishes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

We visit Flagstaff several times a year and we can't seem to eat anywhere else! We try, but we always end up here. They have a tandoor oven and serve a typical Indian menu in addition to Himalayan specialties, and these dishes are just fine. This trip we had lamb vindaloo and shrimp saag, both rich and delicious. In fact, my husband thought that his shrimp was probably the best preparation of that dish he'd eaten anywhere. We also had the bhindi masala, okra in a rich sauce, really delicious. However, it's the three Himalayan dishes that are the draw here-the pot-sticker-like mo mo, the chau chaus, pan fried noodles, and the thupkas, thick noodle soups. There was a bit of a chill in the air so we ordered the vegetable thupka to start and to share. They're used to serving it as an entree for one person, and you have to ask for separate small bowls so you can portion it out. That soup was so delicious we could eat it every day. It's also extremely filling, so by the time we finished our meal, which also included two kinds of bread, both delicious (particularly enjoyed the aloo paratha), they almost had to roll us out of there. A wonderful meal, and you know we'll be back.

Good service, good food, good value - comfortable place for a solo traveler. I ate here twice during my visit to Flagstaff.

“Best indian food Ever!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

I love this place. Everytime we go to flagstaff we eat there. The staff is great. Will make whatever you ask for. The flavors of the food is great. Go for their Lunch Buffett. Then you get to try new things. They make their own tofu so good. If you ask for hot it will be fire breathing hot. I love hot food but I ask for medium and its perfect everytime.

“Flagstaff must lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Great atmosphere and good service. Most of the dishes are chicken based, but there are some good vegetarian dishes. What really stands out here is the soup. Been here several times and often thought I would be happy with just soup and naan. There are two Indian restaurants in Flag; this one is far superior.
