I arrived to elves in the lobby, shepherding children to the North Pole Experience sleigh rides, and I thought I would die of cute. Awoke early the next morning, long before dawn, to a klabillion lights outside on the trees. The whole thing was just grand.
Upstairs, the room was decorated in a cross between French Provencal and Cupid's Love Emporium - sateen sheets, big plastic chandelier, and a circular tub enclosed with pink tile. The room was gigantic, and very clean. All the furniture was comfortable, including the bed and the sofa.
Despite being sandwiched between a highway and a truck stop, my room was surprisingly quiet, even though I was overlooking the main parking lot and the highway. There is no elevator, though, and nobody was available to help carry luggage up the stairs (the employee who explained that there were no elevators looked terrified that I would ask him to help me, so I didn't - ha ha, poor kid). If you have mobility problems, or even just heavy luggage, be sure to ask for a ground floor room.
The people working there were exceptionally pleasant - even the kid who hates carrying luggage was very nice. And although the fitness centre is small, it's also not very busy.
Highly, highly recommended. Can't say enough good things about this place.
