“Great hotel, attentive staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile

We stayed 2 days in October to view the fall leaves. We brought our dog and when I booked the room online, I made a request in the comments section that we would like a room on the ground floor near the exit. When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised they paid attention to my comment and gave us the perfect room! It was very easy when the dog needed to go outside. The breakfast was yummy and the staff was friendly. Overall had a great stay and would stay here again!

My girlfriend and I went up to flagstaff for the weekend wanted to see the snow and some friends. The hotel is in a good location not far from anything. The room is very nice bed was comfortable and soft the only problem the tv was kinda small. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good amount of food and plenty of choices. Would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed one night at this hotel last week as a quick get away. We are expecting our second child and needed a night away from reality. We brought our two dogs with us as this is a so called "pet friendly" hotel. We left the animals alone only twice for only 2 hours at a time. The first so we could take our 3 year old to see snow for the first time and the second to get a bite to eat for dinner. The next morning we checked out oblivious to any mishaps. When we arrived home, we noticed a second "room charge" of over $75 on our account and there were 2 messages (5 hours apart) stating that our dogs were barking and to return to the room. We called and spoke with the manager who explained that a few people had complained that our dogs were barking and that they had given compensation of a night stay to one family. They then transferred that price on to us. We were told that we were not able to leave our pets in the room by themselves. We have stayed in several pet friendly hotels and have never had any issues. Our dogs are older and only bark at cats or if someone were to knock on the room door. We had the manager send us the "pet policy" and no where does it state you cannot leave animals in your room. A message was never left on our room phone, a note was never left on or under our room door, and we were not notified that there had been a problem at checkout. If we had been aware, we would never have left them. We are not the type of people who disobey rules and we hate that someone had a horrible experience. Unfortunately dogs bark whether owners are there or not. If you don't want barking dogs don't own a "pet friendly" hotel. And compensation for others should NEVER be passed on to other customers, especially if they have not been made aware of it. The only reason we knew we were charged is from our credit card statement which we check regularly, especially after a trip. This "wonderful getaway" has turned into a horrible nightmare".

I'm doing a long-term road trip, and it was so refreshing to stay at a place that was exactly as promised on the website. The room was comfortable, modern, and equipped with a microwave and fridge. The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures and such a treat. The staff was helpful and pleasant to deal with. A couple of restaurants, Walmart and more are right across the street., as well as a good laundromat. Highly recommended!

The room is a mixture of retro and modern. The bed gave me a solid nights sleep. The location is central to the campus, shopping, the highway, and food. The room was the smallest king i have been in for quite a while. But I was not there to hang in the room! :)

My husband and I drove up to Flagstaff to meet with a new client and had to spend the night. We chose the Sleep Inn because it said it was newly remodeled. The pictures on their site were right on.

Check-in was quick because we booked online. The gal was very nice. We went and grabbed some dinner and when we got back there was a warm fire in lobby fireplace, a nice touch.

Our room was a king bed and while the room was small it was perfect for one night. I wouldn't recommend it for more than a couple of nights. It was very clean! The bed was comfortable. There was a microwave, flat screen tv and a little refrigerator. The "closet" was small but it had real wood hangers...with a hook! Not those crappy one you fit into a notch. The shower was space age looking and had only a very small shelf to put soap and one or two other things on. The shower head was great though.

The room came with a free breakfast which is available from 6:30-9:30 on weekdays. The toaster actually worked! They also had boiled eggs and bacon, although there wasn't any bacon left when we got there at 8:30am, and they never brought more out, which was disappointing. There was cold cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee and tea. Plus, make your own waffles, which I wouldn't recommend, they were doughy.

All in all, we would stay there again.
The price was right for what you get.

Stayed here for a trip on the Grand Canyon Train. Very friendly staff, check in took a hot 5 min. Room was very clean and updated. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. I don't like the giant pillows that usually are provided so the 5 small ones were just the ticket. The rooms are SMALL but not a problem since you're just sleeping. We had a King room so I didn't see a room with 2 beds to compare to. The room we stayed in had no bathtub so if you're needing/wanting that, beware. The breakfast was more than adequate, providing the usual fare of muffins, bacon, waffles, bagels, 2 kinds of cereal, juices, yogurt, hard boiled eggs etc. Good location with easy on/off to I40/I17. There is a Walmart across the street as well as many places to eat. I would highly recommend staying here.
