Stayed here on our way back to Los Angeles after a week in SouthEast Utah. Nice friendly staff. Comfortable room. Convenient to many restaurants. A nice change of pace after a week in a more Rustic small-town motel for the previous week.

For our excursion to the Grand Canyon we stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Flagstaff, AZ. The room was spacious and very clean, coming with a stocked kitchenette and enough space for all of us to spread out! The pool was fabulous, with doors that opened to an outdoor patio, letting in the warm Arizona weather. This Hampton is within walking distance of several great restaurants and a short drive to the downtown area where we enjoyed dinner at Pita Palace. The breakfast was fantastic, and we loved the restored chuck wagon in the dining area! My personal favorite spot was the little cubby behind the fireplace in the foyer. We look forward to returning.

Room Tip: Where you get a room in the hotel will determine how quiet it is. The hotel does share a parking lo...

The hotel was in a nice location. The staff was okay. The room was plain. I've had nicer rooms at other Hamptons. The breakfast was a choice of under-cooked oatmeal or some sort of a pre-cooked omelet. There was no fridge in the room as in other Hamptons. We were able to get the last fridge available by request at the front desk after checking in and discovering there was no fridge. I know is not necessarily the hotels fault, but about 3 A.M. The smoke alarm began chirping because of the battery. I called the front desk and he came up and changed the battery promptly. Still, it messed up a good night's sleep.

We stayed at the hotel two nights, going and on our return trips, and in it's usual Hampton Inn style, it was very clean, the staff was friendly (except for the older gentleman who checked us in, he seemed a little stand-offish, but still nice and polite). We had a room on the first floor. The hotel is built on a hill, so you enter the lobby on the second floor, then take the stairs or elevator to the first floor. At first, we joked about being put in the basement, however, we had the last room next to the stairs, very close to the side exit AND were able to find a parking spot right in front of the door, so it was very convenient. It is right next to a very busy intersection, but the noise was very minimal. There is a gas station/convenience store, and a Del Taco in the same parking lot, so there is lots of traffic directly around the hotel, but it's set up so it's easy to get around. There is also a Red Lobster across the street back of the hotel, and an easy walk for a nice dinner.

The staff was very helpful, from the front desk personnel to maintenance and housekeeping. The atmosphere was beautiful and reflected the Flagstaff mountain area. Breakfast was also very nice. We stayed there on our trip out and back to and from California. The selection of foods was the typical variety and quality you expect from the Hampton Inn. The first morning on the trip out there was a selection of breakfast cereals, hot oatmeal with the fixings, skim and 2% milks, orange juice, biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, waffle makings, coffee, teas and water. The second time was all the same, and instead of sausage gravy and biscuits, they had maple kielbasa style sausage.

The rooms were spacious and included a coffee maker, ironing board and iron, a roomy closet, an extra blanket and plenty of towels (4 of each: bath and hand towels and washcloths). The only downside, which I should have checked out beforehand, as we like to take our own food when we travel to save money, was that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. However, they did let us use the microwave in the breakfast area to heat up our dinner the first night, which was awesome of them.

We would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: I would recommend the first floor if you want to be near the pool, workout room and laundry. It'...

We stayed one night here during a road trip. The hotel is easy to access from the freeway. The staff was generally good. We had a room that faced the gas station in front of the hotel. Our room was very noisy all night with sounds from cars and trucks. The sounds of trucks backing up was particularly loud and made it difficult to sleep well.

Staff went above and beyond and made our stay a wonderful time to relax and enjoy our family and the city. We left a couple of items in our room at checkout and they were mailed to us almost immediately! Thank you Hampton!!

Hi
Stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites with my daughter while attending a conference in Flagstaff and the staff couldn't do enough. They were helpful in recommending places to go and even checking the weather and lending us an umbrella as we were on foot.
The room was large and well laid out - tea making facilities in the room would certainly help though!
Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: The lift is quite slow so you may want to choose a room near the stairs.
