“Nice sheets!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2008

Good location, just on the edge of town by RT. 89. Some may not like the train sounds that go through town and can be heard in the room, but we loved it! Clean, comfortable bed and the best part....smooth sheets. Some Inns have gone to strange, scratchy, probably synthentic fabric, sheets. This one had nice smooth ones. Good value.

We stayed here after our car broke down and was being repaired. Getting a reservation was easy and the hotel was very nice. Updated bathrooms and great bedding. Very quiet and a good breakfast. If ever in Flagstaff check it out!

The room was clean. The staff was great. It is located in a scenic area close to the Grand Canyon and numerous sites. Great value. Highly recommend it. My kids loved the pool. Excellent continent breakfast.

We planned a road trip from Denver to Las Vegas, and due to weather, we had to change our trip route. We were scheduled to stay the night at the Hampton Inn in Richfield, Utah, but due to snow road closures, we had to change our route to New Mexico and Arizona. My other half booked us a room in Flagstaff, and away we went! We always travel well together, and this trip was no exception. We drove straight through to Flagstaff, as we wanted to get past the Rocky Mountains and out of the snow. We arrived late on a Friday night. The check in was fast and efficient. Our room was very nice and comfortable. We did not spend much time at the hotel, other than to relax for an hour and then climb into bed. The bed was one of the signature Hampton Beds...very comfortable! The room was comfortable, with a couch, coffee table and desk, so we could spread out for awhile and plan our next day's travel plans, and eat take out, as we arrived late...the hotel is surrounded by large pine trees so it feels like you are not even in the city. The hotel is close to the interstate, but far enough off that you do not hear any traffic. We will be back and will choose this Hampton Inn to stay at!

  • Liked — Great location...close in parking
  • Disliked — We could not stay longer to take advantage of the facility

We were thrilled when we arrived, thrilled with the room (it was clean and comfortable), very nice for the price we paid.

If not for one MAJOR issue, I would have given this hotel the best rating available. The morning of check-out, we left the hotel to get breakfast. When we returned, the door to our room had been propped open, presumably by the maid. The same had been done to rooms all the way down our hall. What good does it do to have locking doors if the door is then propped open, with all of our belongings inside??? My husband contacted the front desk to voice his concern, but since nothing was missing from our room, they weren't very concerned. I never even thought of placing the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door prior to leaving the room, as there was not one anywhere to be found.

So, needless to say - great value for the money - just be sure to put your "Do Not Disturb' sign on the door before you leave the room!!!!

  • Liked — Cleanliness.
  • Disliked — A safety snafu!!!

Wonderful experience! Hotel was clean, comfortable, and up-to-date on its furnishings. The inn staff was fantastic. They really went out of their way to accomodate us. I was traveling with my elderly mother and it really helped that they were so friendly and ready to assist. Regarding train noises, we really didn't notice and they did not bother us at all. I commend Hampton on their choice of staff and hotel quality.

Fantastic experience! Hotel was clean and freshly renovated. Rooms were clean, sleek, modern, comfortable, and refreshing. Breakfast the next morning was hot, fresh, and delicious. Full variety from sausage and biscuits to yogurt and fresh fruit. The inn staff was helpful, friendly, and accomodating. Train noises were loud, but did not bother us.
