The staff, breakfast, room and all things hotel related are absolutely fine.
The problem is the surroundings. Possibly, due to zoning or a local ordinance, there is no large sign to assist in locating this hotel.
Upon checking in, you should notice a sign indicating there are train crossings nearby. Oh, how I wish I would have questioned the sign.
Many trains all through the night. This was not a restful night at all.

This was the 1st stop on our recent road trip. I look for the Hilton brands on our route and trust when I get there, I'll have a clean, comfortable room. Had a great stay here and learned of the breakfast to go bags. Really appreciate this amenity as we don't like to sit down to breakfast first thing in the morning so we usually just pass on the free breakfast. The bag includes an apple, a muffin, a breakfast bar, bottle of water and a box of mints. We had a long drive to Amarillo and appreciated the snacks on the way.

My friend broke his foot and we had to stay in this hotel five nights on a cross country trip. Everyone in the hotel was very helpful. Ana went out of her way to help get my friend to breakfast each morning. We had no wheel chair so we used the computer chairs on wheels. Ana would wheel him around, take the chair back when we were through, and help in any other way she could. She was an angel!

I have stayed at several Hampton Inns before, and they are mostly newly built with great amenities. So I picked this hotel over others, even though it was farther to places we wanted to visit, and pricier than the other hotels in the neighborhood. It was, however, a much older building, possibly converted to a Hampton Inn, and it showed its age. The single pane windows were very small making the room dark, and you could hear every train passing by. The hotel did not have decent signs, and it was easy to miss the street leading to the hotel.

Otherwise, the service, cleanliness, and breakfast were good as expected from a Hampton Inn.
