My daughter graduated from NAU and the family drove up to Flagstaff and rented 5 rooms at the Days Inn.. It was a great stay, the staff was more than helpful, gave us advice from driving in the snow to where to eat. They also provided us with shovels to dig our car out from the snow. Breakfast was delicious although we only got biscuits and gravy one morning. The ladies that took care of breakfast were very kind and helped us with warming up milk for the little ones. The pillows were awful so bring your own.

We stayed here after a long day of driving and we appreciated the very friendly staff and clean rooms.
Refrigerator/freezer in room worked very well, but the freezer could use a defrosting (room 204).
The internet connection in the room was very slow, which was a minor inconvenience.
There was LOTS of hot water in the shower and the hot breakfast was very good !!
Would definitely stay here if we are ever in Flagstaff again.

The pillows are VERY stiff and THICK. They don't give at all. Both my wife and I said it was the worst nights sleep in a hotel. Since the pillows don't give and they are Thick and high, your neck does not lay right and will end up with a stiff and sore neck and keep waking up since you are uncomfortable. The train noise is noticeable and we had to turn on the fan as white noise. If you want a good nights sleep, don't stop here. I told the person at the desk they should burn all the pillows and explained how uncomfortable they were. All she said was she was sorry. Others have complained about their pillows in other comments here. The management has not done anything about it. At least have one softer pillow in the room to give people a choice. I told here she should have the manager/owner sleep in that room to feel the experience. Heed the warnings from other comments here on tripadvisor unless you like hard and stiff pillows and don't mind train whistles.
