We stayed here for two nights Labor Day weekend. It is nice to have a full kitchen and not have to eat out. We enjoyed cooking out at the grill outside and many children were enjoying the heated pool. Out was convenient to where we needed to go and pretty quiet when though it was sold out. The bed was not very comfortable and kind of small, though. The internet access was wired, which seems outdated. Also, there was an older, big TV (not flat panel) which got grainy reception and few channels. It was kind of like stepping back in time 10 years our so. the property recently changed hands so maybe they will be making improvements soon.

We just stayed here for 1 night. It's just changed from a Residence Inn By Marriott to a Sonesta ES Suites. We had a one bedroom suit that had a queen bed and a pull out sofa. All rooms have kitchenettes which are larger than I expected with full size appliances. The one bedroom suite was spacious. The room had good wifi service which was a plus. We didn't eat breakfast there because we had to be up and gone earlier than when it was served, but they do offer a complimentary breakfast. The televisions are a little outdated, they aren't flat screen, but more so the big boxy kind, but it worked so that was all that mattered. The room was clean and comfortable, I'd stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights with family me mbers. The suite was ample for all 3 of us, we all had our own TV's! Hotel was full so breakfast each morning was somewhat of a challenge, but the staff worked hard to replenish as necessary, the 2nd morning of our stay they opened an additional dining room and that was an excellent idea!

We booked here at the last minute to stay for 2 nights over the weekend. The scenery around the area is quite gorgeous. Its not exactly in the center of flagstff but its only a couple minutes drive to the center of town. When we arrived, we were a few hours early before check in, so they gave us a list of different restaurants around flagstaff, so we took the oppurtunity to explore the town before it was time to check in.
The lobby if the residence has a very cosy atmosphere with a cafe area to eat or sit with laptop and use their wifi. Personal, I had no problems using the wifi and it was not particularly slow either. It would however be more convenient if the rooms themselves had wifi, instead you have to plug in your computer to use the internet in your room, but that doesnt help if you're using an ipod touch or a smartphone. The walk to the lobby however isn't far so that didn't bother me when I had to use their wifi.
We had a bedroom which comfortably accomdates a family of four. The rooms are small but cozy and clean. It has a refrigerator and kitchen, as well a bed, sofabed, tv, and bathroom, the essentials. The amneities however, could use major updates, such as the tv, the sofa, and the kitchen. But again, those factors did not bother because we aren't necessarily nit-picky.
The hotel also has a sports court, dog walking park, and a pool with hours ranging from 8 to 11pm (I'm not sure if their hours have changed or not). The sport court alllows you to play basket ball, tennis, or volley ball. The sports equipment can be reuqested at the front desk where the staff will gleefully assist any of your needs (again, nicest, staff, EVER). So we had a blast playing basketball, and tennis. The pool was also nice, theres a hot tub and pool. the pool ranges from 3 ft to 6 ft so you actually have the option to swim underwater XD. Another thing I liked anout the pool was that it is heated, and the pool towels are provided.
They also have a laundromat. Remember to bring alot of quarters! We had to go to the lobby to get change for a dollar which they gladly did. The cycles are lenghty, the wash cycle being 30 min and the dry cycle being 90 min. the laundromat area requires your room key to get in so you're clothing should be safe from any intruders.
The breakfast was also good, They have cofee, tea and other beverages. They also have waffles in which you actually pour the batter and the machine cooks the waffles (again, the staff lady showed me how to do it :D) And ofcourse there is toast and eggs and more.
So all in all, I would probably return to this hotel, the staff being the primary reason. They are extremely helpful, and if you need extra toilet paper, they will deliver to you within seconds (true story). The only con of this hotel is that it needs to be updated. If they do update the room amenities, then this hotel will just be amazing. But again, that friendly staff :')

We recently stayed here for 4 nights for a family reunion. The room itself was very clean, the beds comfortable. The shower also had great pressure and temperature, and you could adjust the shower head for 2 different kinds of sprays.

we stayed in a suite because there were 4 of us, and the setup was nice. a main kitchen/living room area with pull out sofa and desk, then off of either side there was a bedroom each with its own bathroom.

The room was a great size and we didn't feel we were stacked on top of each other.

The kitchen had a fridge, sink, coffee maker, microwave, stove and dishwasher. It was nice to be able to make coffee every morning without having to go down to the lobby for breakfast.

The staff were very nice and our maid replenished our coffee supplies for us, even though the card in the basket of coffee, tea etc, said it would not be replenished but you could get more from the desk. I feel they should replenish this based on what you used. Our coffee maker had some issues, you had to make sure the water spout was positioned correctly when you closed it, and other people in our party staying there had the same issues with theirs. They weren't expensive coffee makers, and I think the management should inspect them a little more often and replace them.

I got a peek at the regular room and even that was a nice size.

If you are really, really picky, then yes you would notice tiny things, like there was a cracked tile in our entry way, and a couple of the wooden drawers on the bathroom vanities had chips out of them. Those things I didn't mind, because it was a clean and comfortable room.

I do think the bathroom fans need updating, one of them had a crack in the plastic piece over the light, and the fluorescent bulb was slow to come on.

They did advertise Wifi, but that only existed in or near the lobby building and then it was slow, but they did have cables to hook up your computer to.

Breakfast choices were pretty much the same every day, scrambled eggs, waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt and fruit. I was disappointed the morning the fruit was melon and found out it wasn't fresh but jarred. Also there were no bananas, and most hotels I've stayed at that provide breakfast have bananas.

I also liked the fact they had a laundry facility and didn't price gouge on the price of the washer and dryer. Dryer was $1.50 for 90 minutes, and I think the washer was about $2, I dont' quite remember.

I would stay here again because I found the staff nice and the room clean.

Room Tip: The suites are very large, did not hear much noise from other rooms, because it is like a townhouse...

I stay at a lot of Residence Inn Marriott properties. This is not one of the shining stars. It is in need of remodeling. The cabinets and faucets are right out of the 80's. Well worn and not contemporary. The place was clean, but dated. Staff was nice, but check in was very slow. I will stay at the Courtyard next time in Flagstaff, AZ

Hotel was outdated...which wouldn't be bad for other hotels, because the compensate lower ammenties with lower prices. But, when you pay top prices for the area and get poor quality and less than standard service, you have to wonder. Is this a Marriott...really? I'm was disappointed to say the least and will not spend my money at another Marriott in the near future.
