We booked two rooms. The door wouldn't stay closed on either one without the deadbolt and top latch. Dead flies in the windowsill, a LARGE hole in the tub, heater that you have to adjust all night to regulate, even in the room that had a thermostat A/C, stained bedspreads, a filthy microwave plate upon arrival, and only cold water left by mid-morning in one of the showers. The ONLY benefit to staying here was the proximity to the North Pole Experience launching station at the Little America Hotel which was less than a mile away, and a Cracker Barrel that was two doors down from this HoJos. We booked here because we needed two rooms since we were traveling with extended family and didn't want to pay a lot per room. Trip Advisor reviews had this hotel ranked somewhere in the top third for Flagstaff, so since the price was so good, we chose this motel. We did not feel very welcomed by the front desk staff upon arrival although the checkin and checkouts were quick and painless. We have stayed at many other small budget motels in Flagstaff over the years and had enjoyable, no frills experiences. But, even for a budget motel, this motel was easily the most rundown we've ever stayed in. Next time, we will book earlier and stay elsewhere.
