“Hard to find”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

The Quality Inn rooms are your basic motel fare. One is much like the next. If you have been driving all day though, a clean bed and coffee in the.morning is what you want. Te front desk clerk was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was predictable.

Ok, so this isn't a new hotel, but it is clean! The tile was spotless and the rooms have been updated. Staff was great and helpful. It speaks well of Management when one employee told me she had been there since 2005. We didn't eat breakfast as we were in a hurry to get to NAU, but looked like they had everything. When we arrived there was bananna bread out instead of cookies. LOVED IT! Nice touch.

This is an older building but it still offers room access via inside hallways. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Considering the low weekday rates, it is a good value. Breakfast, served in the lobby, is included and offers several choices. It is well stocked. Since there are no tables/chairs or specified breakfast area, the guests can share a coffee table and sofa or take food back to their rooms. Note that room rates are about 60% higher when there is an event at the local college. We paid more on Parents Weekend but did not visit Flagstaff for that reason. If you are driving you will want to get directions or use GPS because the motel driveway entrance is behind a big gas station (odd arrangement). After you get in the first time it's okay.

It was close to the interstate. The staff was very friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. They provide free amenities if you forgot something. The hot breakfast was nice with several choices. Rooms open into corridors.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Stayed 3 nights. The hotel was adequate, but dated and tired. The bed was comfortable, TV decent, internet good. The biggest minus was that the walls are thin and you cannot turn the ventilation fan on to get some white noise without it blowing hot air in the winter or cold air in the summer. The thermostat does not work to control the temperature, and according to the personnel, that is the way it is. We ended up sleeping with the hot air blowing and the window open. The biggest plus was a very friendly, courteous, and helpful staff especially during a several day period of heavy snow. They did an excellent job of keeping the parking areas plowed and manageable. There are other hotels in close proximity that appear newer, and would likely be worth the additional $20-30 per night.

It was average but better than the one in Kingman, Az. It had restaurants close by and The rooms were clean and it had all the same extras that the other one had. TV -refrigerator - microwave and coffee maker.

Room Tip: Not too thrilled with Quality Inns.
