“Friendly Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

Great hotel! Room was nice, free breakfast was delicious. Heated pool and spa was my kids favorite thing about the trip. Every employee was very friendly. Close to alot of good restaurants and NAU campus. I would stay here again.

Five of my friends and myself stopped by this hotel last night. We were road weary, it was late when we got in and we were treated wonderfully!!! They greeted us upon arriving, gave us rooms next to each other. The bar was still open when we got there, we were given a warm reception by the bartender and I'm pretty sure he stayed open later just for us. Breakfast was outstanding, at checkout we asked them to split the bill 6 ways, they were more than accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were more than adequate. It was a wonderful stay after a long and tiring road trip on the way to Las Vegas. If I'm ever in this area again, this is where I'll stay, no question!!

We stayed here after a day of skiing and then stayed again after visiting the Grand Canyon. Customer service was awesome and the breakfast was incredible. We loved the omelets, it was definitely worth the wait. The chef was amazing. The suite was rather small for the five of us and the rooms need to be renovated, but it was clean and quiet.

Thank you so much for your great review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We know it can be difficult to fit five adults in one room but I am glad that this won't deter you from staying with us in the future. Maybe next time you can get one of our larger suites to accomodate all five of you more comfortably.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!

I recently stayed at the Embassy suites 4-5-14. It was only a one night stay, for a trip to the Grand Canyon. The room itself was ok, a King Suite with 2 rooms. Although it was clean, the furniture was slightly shabby, scratched coffee table, and old bathroom floor and tub.

The reason I like to stay at Embassy Suites is because of the convenience of the onsite breakfast, including made to order omelets. The breakfast area is much too small for the amount of guests staying at the hotel. The organization and layout for getting your food is very inconvenient, as well as dirty tables, and no one to clear tables for waiting guests. Having to ask for the coffee and hot water to be filled... I mean it is breakfast time right? You would expect enough staff to keep things clean, filled, and moving.

The utensils and drink area is located behind the people waiting in line for omelets, very frustrating for both customers. No utensils for slicing bread or muffins (which were cold) to put in the toaster. Etc...etc...I won't stay at this particular Embassy Suites again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back of the hotel, otherwise you will face the street and alot of traffic nois...

My family really enjoyed staying here. Made to order breakfast with omelets, French toast and pancakes was great. The happy hour was good, too. Nice, quiet suite that fit the four of us comfortably. Staff were helpful and friendly.

We spent one night in this hotel end of March. Our general feeling is good although it looks like an old hotel which would need to be renovated. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable, the staff at the reception desk was efficient and smiling. We were slightly disappointed because there was no restaurant inside the hotel which is usually the case in this type of hotel. We had to go outside for diner which was not an issue, but after a long trip, we would have enjoyed to have a diner at the hotel. the breakfast was good with a lot of choices. it is likely that we would come back to this hotel as a second choice with a preference to another Flagstaff hotel from the Hilton chain hotels. All in all, this hotel remains a place to stay in Flagstaff.

Room Tip: would suggest to book a room in the back of the hotel

We took our grandchildren to the Grand Canyon and stayed at this Embassy the night before and the evening after seeing the Grand Canyon. The hotel was very accommodating for families! The dining area was really busy at breakfast time but they kept the food supplied. They had coffee and water available in the lobby, which was very nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is located very conveniently to get to the Grand Canyon.
