“Checked Out After One Night”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

We booked this hotel for two nights, but checked out after only one. The first thing to bother us was the fact that the rear door near the elevators was propped open when we arrived, giving us a very insecure feeling. Anyone could have walked in off the street with little chance of being seen. Also, the rear parking area is not well lit.

After getting to the room, we immediately noticed a foul, musky odor. I didn't sleep well because of the odor and the insecure feeling and checked out early the next morning without having the breakfast. The hotel is obviously old and the rooms are cramped and dated and the floors creak when walking on them. I'm sure management is doing as well as can be expected considering what they have to work with, but there are much better (and newer) choices in the area.

What you'd expect from Embassy Suites -- room was clean with lots of space (though mostly full of big furniture items) and friendly service. On the other hand, there is not a direct way to get from the lobby to most of the rooms, and other than cook to order omelets, the breakfast consists mainly of enriched white flour pastries and bread.

Walking distance to NAU. Spacious, comfortable and quiet, we were treated very well by the courteous hotel staff. The complimentary breakfast is something that you would pay at least $15 for at a restaurant, and the cocktail reception is the perfect way to wind down a busy day, and prepare for an evening out. Great work in a town filled with hotel choices.

There for a family trip. Took my mother whom is in late 70's. We found the bathroom set up to not be good for those of age. It was also dirty and in need of maintenance. The grout needed to be redone and there was tiling missing around the handicap grab bar. There was dirt around curtain area and sticky in areas of the carpet.
I did like there were two rooms with two tv - nice for families
FYI - double beds are just that full size not queens.
Breakfast that is included was very good!
We were booked for two nights yet only stayed one -

Room Tip: Ask for room in the back so you are not on the road.

I had a great stay, hotel is close to restaurants/night life. Very clean rooms, great complimentary breakfast w/ made to order omelets. Friendly staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was great.

This hotel was a little disappointing considering it is being managed by Hilton. The rooms are outdated and the condition of the rooms are below expectations. However, the price does include breakfast and the overall dining service was pretty good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The Embassy Suites is in the heart of Flagstaff and close to all attractions of the city. The rooms are wonderful with a seperate bedroom, two flat screen TV's, and free internet access? Where else do you get an free open bar every afternoon? Where else to you get great breakfasts with delicious made-to-order eggs and omlets in the morning in additon to all the usual breakfast foods? For the price this Embassy Suites is impossible to beat in Flagstaff!!

Room Tip: All rooms have parking outside their doors so it doesn't make a big difference.
