“Great place to stay in Flagstaff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

The Drury Inn is located right on the edge of the NAU campus. It provides excellent accommodations, a great location in the heart of Flagstaff, and the evening "snack" offerings provides a nice dinner. The breakfast is very complete. The staff is simply outstanding in seeking to serve and take care of you. A place we will definitely stay again at in the future.

We arrived a little earlier than the 3:00 check-in, but was greeted nicely by Genieve. She allowed us to check in for which we were very grateful since we had just been traveling by car about 10 hours. The room was nice, but was absent of that crisp bleach clean sheets smell I prefer. The evening free food and snacks were okay, but the rude guests made it a questionable experience for my husband. Space invaders are a problem. Anyway, there were undercooked baked potatos, soup, some pasta (which I didn't try), and some chips and pretzels. The line for the free drinks was way too long, so we didn't get to partake. Unfortunate, because I was looking forward to some free wine. As others have indicated, the toilet was a little strange, but nothing I couldn't figure out. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash are in dispensers on the wall. If you were to take a bath, I am not sure you would reach them easily. The chairs in the room has some "stains" on them. I am going to say they were doggie slobber and stick with that. We walked directly across the street for lunch at 1899. It was a bit pricey for a brawt and the waitress was maybe a little too friendly, but the restaurant was nice and quiet even though there were other patrons. The hotel isn't too far from a grocery store, coffee shop and is located basically on the university campus. With all the other reviews I read prior to going, it was definitely better than I expected. BTW breakfast was quite good with eggs, yummy spicy potatos and biscuits and gravy as a few of the options.
One of our pillows actually looked moldy. We didn't advise the hotel, but just removed it from our bed. The rest of them looked okay. My husband said there was a stain on the sheets which I luckily didn't see.

Very nice hotel. It has a free cocktail hour which is really about 11/2 hours and lite dinner choices, free breakfast which had a very nice layout. Hotel was very busy on the night of our stay but they seemed to be well staffed and handled things very efficiently. Would stay again next time in flagstaff.

We recently stayed at the Drury Inn & Suites in Flagstaff, and found it dog friendly, clean with lots of amenities. The location is close to downtown, and actually on the NAU campus, so it is very convenient to walk anywhere. It is very dog friendly, with a green grass area right outside the back door complete with poop bags! Rooms were clean and soundproof, so you don't hear your neighbors (2 or 4 leggeds). They also have an extremely adequate breakfast and evening dinner and drinks. The menu changes, and is on the web page, so you can see in advance what will be offered. Free internet was fast. The staff is accommodating, and helpful. What more can you ask for?

We stayed at the Drury Inn while attending the Discover NAU program. The location of the hotel is perfect to Northern Arizona University (NAU) and old town Flagstaff on Route 66! The hotel is all inclusive; breakfast, dinner appetizers and drinks included in the price of the stay. You didn't even have to give your credit card for incidental expenses; a first for us. We rated the hotel higher than the current rating due to quality, service and value. Also, for a pet friendly hotel, it was very clean and quiet. Definitely a must stay while visiting Flagstaff, AZ.

Finally a hotel near downtown worth my hard earned money, I have stayed all over flagstaff and we have been looking for somewhere close to downtown, granted you can find a cheaper room but what's the cost of bad beds and spotty Internet or lack of comfort. this place is great good location, modern hotel with a touch of class, free adult drinks at 530 pm, free wi fi and parking. I found my second home.....cheaper mortgage ;)

Room Tip: 601 has a great view, but everything is close.

Date of our visit: 15th September 2012. As a one night stop-over on a Cosmos Western Wonders Coach Tour.
Cleanliness & Service were the key features for this Hotel. All of the staff were welcoming and polite. The rooms were adequate for our overnight stop-over , functional and clean. Décor/fabrics/colours in our bedroom were a bit dated, but the size of the room met our needs with ample storage space (for 2 of us) an adequate sized bath/shower . There were no formal dining facilities, nor any bar facilities. However, upon our arrival the management laid on complimentary (3 pp) drinks (inc alcohol), food/snacks in the way of dogs and chillie. These offerings seemed to satisfy the appetites of those ‘less generous’ fellow travellers who wished to save their holiday money for spending on holiday items other than dining. Complimentary use of the hotel internet was useful. A complimentary rudimentary breakfast was given by management (although it was a bit of a scramble to find available tables and chairs). All in all, this kindness was appreciated. There were nearby restaurants where one could enjoy a full-blown meal.
I would compare this hotel to a UK Premier Inn (without the food & drinks facilities)
