They have a great doggie park, disc golf, soccer fields, base ball, tennis& handball courts and a great view. We go there all the time. The park is kept real nice but remember this is not in the country club. Great play ground for the kids, and to picnic for lunch. The park in next to Lowell Observatory walk over it's cool!
Great location for a very nice Disc Golf Course. Even if you don't play disc golf the walking paths are very nice and clean. Good job City of Flagstaff.
First off, I went with a group of friends, intending to play some volleyball and disc golf.
Volleyball court had no net. Looked like it had been ripped off. The disc golf course, while huge and winds around the park through some awesome woody areas, was full of glass shards. In some spots we walked over more glass than dirt. Definitely don't wear flip flops.
The full park is enormous. I imagine it's great for little-league baseball, local adult softball, soccer, and tennis.
Bought a disc and visited Thorpe for our first ever game. its a great area with a play park for the kids, well defined trail and the disc golf course is the excellent.
Who could ask for more- lots of equipment, good trees to climb and fantastic views. Don't miss it if you need something fun and free to do in Flag!
