My husband is not a camper. I grew up camping. It was with some trepidation that I signed us up for a "glamping" experience in the Grand Canyon. I cannot possible rave enough about the experience Misty and Colleen created for us at the Grand Canyon's Mather Campground. They had candles (battery powered) hanging from trees, silverware and a chandelier at the picnic table, an incredible welcome basket on our queen-size mattress (loved the olives and cheese), a cot and pillow outside waiting for someone to take a nap in the sunshine, a cooler filled with ice next to all the cooking utensils and bowls/pans one would need to create a wonderful evening meal on the propane-powered grill they provide (as well as firewood and firestarter (and local beer) to enjoy later in the evening. They created such a wonderful memory for us, and my husband wants to do it again (but not without Cree Canyon Outfitters)! Five stars from an east coast couple.
